Heyo! Fun game. Game-play is great. The addition of a focus key is a boon for sure. While there aren't any new weapons, there are new combos and mechanics for a lot, if not all, the weapons.

Visuals are really nice.

The blacksmith is helpful. -_o

$70 is a steep price for sure though.

8/10 Slain Dragons over and over again.

Addition. You have a mount that will take you directly to your target. This is awesome. I like having the option to explore the world on my terms and not have to chase my target around. I can also collect, sharpen, eat, and drink my items from this mount while my target moves to the next area.

I like to explore as well and can do this freely. I can do this while I hunt a monster if I so choose. The auto mount is a good addition to the game.

Early Access Review
For Early Access this game has a lot to offer.
Compared to other games in the same genre, it is better than those.

The core systems are the same as the old game, but combat has been reworked. Combat is much slower and deliberate. If you're looking for the PoE experience this is not going to be the same. Skills work in relation to each other, not one or two skills that you buff to hell. I feel this is a good change. I never liked the zerg play-style of PoE.

8/10 would spend $30 again.

TLDR: Good game.

I read some of the reviews before playing this. A lot people wanted multiplayer. I have played most of the game single-player. It's a lot of fun. I did play with friends for about four hours. That was also fun.

Feels like a lot gonna on at the start, not a bad thing. Once you know all the mechanics, the game really opens up to build types.

As you play the game more zones become available. Each zone feels like the game was gonna end there. I didn't like this. I felt like I'd finished the game, just to have it say, "But wait! There's more!" Not to say having more is bad, but more that the story sounds like you're done and then something else pops up.

The story itself is interesting. Has a sci-fi fantasy mix-up feel to it.

Most of the characters are interesting. So far of the three character I've tried only one of them feels like he's in the wrong time. The abilities of the character very impactful and each character has a unique way of playing.

The weapons are a little lack luster when it comes to combinations. Each weapon has a unique special ability, but a lot of the weapons share combo attacks. IE: Left click, left click, right click. Would look the same on sword and board for all the variants. That being said, the combos are interesting and allow for timing during combat. You can dodge-cancel into different combos as needed.

The world is beautiful. All the zones are well crafted. The voice acting is good.

Good purchase. 10/10 would Gloom again.

Simple and fun game. Three modes to play. They are different enough from each other that they give some variety to the game. The core mechanics don't change from the modes. You're a person shooting monsters. Pretty straight forward. How you go about it, is up to you. In my first 9.5 hours, I found a character I liked and a build that I can complete all three modes on. At the time of writing this I haven't increased the difficulty of game; still on difficulty one.

There's my string of thoughts.

Good game, well worth $8-10 bucks.

Fun game with lots of option and ways to play. I like firearms. Well worth playing if you like iso-rpg-survivor style games.

Still fun to play as of 12/1/2024.

Fun game with lots of varied styles of game-play. The robot all play differently and there should be enough types of "classes"/robots for someone to use. There are secrets to unlock and plenty of different paths to take. The last boss can be a bit much sometimes. All in all. Good stuff.

A good MMO. Nothing incredibly new, but still solid in gameplay, graphics, and sound. Plus you don't have to pay a sub. You pay one time. If you wanna play an expansion, you pay for that. No sub though. A decent game for it's price and you can make/find friends while you're at it. Have fun out there!
