🔸Starfield is the next AAA game released by our beloved yet "It Just Works" developer bethesda.
And I am happy to anounce, it still very moddable. And we already got some hard solid mods out there.
To make it short, it allows you explore space, while building up your crew. You can build a base, and even customize your spaceship.
You are given many major choices, from joining the United Colonies to joining the most fierce and evil pirate crew "Crimson Fleet"

🔸 Hello, I will be talking about what fun and less fun about the game.
Pros:
- I love the building mechanic for both base building and the starship building.
- The guns feel heavy, and are quite fun to fire.
- Turn of the UI and you wil have a sweet immersive experience!

Cons:
- The base has limits on how many settlers you are allowed to have there. This feels awful, since you will have about 14 settlers and the rest are robots.
- It is a bit buggy, but that is the charm of bethesda ain't it?

Difficulty
- Up to the player

🔸 Hello, I will be talking about mechanics that exist in the game right now and game breaking bugs.
This will help you to know what you will be expecting, I will also talk about updates.

🕹️ Mechanics:
- Spaceship building is quite an interesting and definitelly unique. It changes the interior depending on how you place the habs, and sure it sometimes wanky, but it sure is amazing.
- Base building has some new interesting mechanics, Sadly I have barely used it, I see no reason to really make a "big base" and it is much more effective to make small resources extractor areas.

🕹️ Game Breaking Bugs:
- Many places to get stuck in, where you have to noclip to get loose
- A few questionable bugs where spaceships spawn ontop of me or where a group of "friendly ais" are for some reason angry with me.

-Also even if it not "game breaking" perfomance in this game is very bad even on my multi pc constructed ware.

🔸 I will talk about the art style in the game and if I personally think it fits. If the art style bring charms to the game or if it could be better
I will also talk about the character development and personalities. No one likes to talk to an NPC who barely knows left to right.

🔍Art style
Not gonan lie, it looks amazing. You have to turn off the User Interferce and play as often as you can without it. It just amazing how everything looks.
-Plants are top tier
-The nature is top tier
-Even the wall of rock I just crashed my spaceship into, is top tier

🔍Characters/NPCs
I love the faces, both the reactions they give and of course facial movement when they speak.


Extra Comments
My gun go pew pew, and my jetpack goes WOOOSH. Also I love stealing all sandwhiches.

I am not much for these kind of games, like this GENRE of games. It is just not my style and I always played overwatch with my friends whenever I AM FORCED TO.
BUT now that all the players are gone, I am finally getting some kills. Never had this much fun in overwatch ever.

Recommended as long as your kdr is low.

This game is absolutely amazing, and with workshop support it will hopefully increase in amazement.
I don't often write unofficial reviews, as I don't like bias perspectives, but as someone who play rimworld, going medieval, oxygen not included, prison architect, medieval life and a few other similars. This one is climbing the list.

I am guessing it highly inspired by starship, because THIS is what I wanted the starship game to be! Horde of hundreds of insects slowly coming towards my walls. I wish they climbed them instead of trying to break them, but I am guessing that would make it too similar.

In any case, graphics is great, better than the other games I have on my list, and I never expected a 3D game to run so smoothly, yet over here I am fighting against around 2000 insects and still running smoothly (Except when I blast them with a barrage of missiles and having their corpses go flying)
And I love the UI

I wish there was more weapons, like modern, as there is only medieval ones and high tech ones, but with the workshop, I know there will be mods out there, or I can just create my own.

I recommend this game fully.

Finished the game, and is already going for another playthrough.
There is a first time for everything, and this one is getting a second time.

Also they are crediting a pirate website. Thieving bastards.

1. I decided to get the pistol & shotgun
2. I gave it to the three legged girl (Virginia) to have her "unlimited ammo" ability
3. When an enemy ambushed me, she decided the best action was to blast my back open & two tap my forehead.

Fantastic Game! 11/10 would get betrayed by Virginia and captured by cannibals.

Edit:
1. I decided to give Kelvin a try, and ask him to gather some logs
2. Had a blast gathering logs with my bro Kelvin
3. Kelvin felled a tree ontop of me and now I am captured by cannibals again.

Astounding Game! 1111/10 would get betrayed by Bro & Ex-crush and then feed to cannibals again!

It is free, and it is amazing!
Normally I do like a sixth paragraph review with my whole team BUT I can't bother waiting that long for all of them to complete the game, because THEY STUCK IN IT.
The joke is that they can't stop playing it. Anyway, just download it and try it for yourself, it free afterall.

I am terribly impressed how this game keeps coming out with well made updates and trailers. Even tho being quite old and recieving to much hate in the discussion tab.

Like any strategy games, balancing is hard, and I will not even try to convince you that some units in this game are not completely one sided OP. But they are trying their best with the little support and funds they probably receiving.

I definitely recommend trying it out, but I also do recommend for the devs to restart and rebuild the game from scratch and making a CB 2. Because they pretty much reworked everything anyway from how it was when I started off back in 2019.

VERY IMPORTANT!
If you an experience total war gamer but new to the warhammer series, you will be quite suprised.
This has HAS NO formations, no shield wall, spear wall and not even loose formations. This was devestating news to me.
I still love the game, but it might just be my loyality to the series talking to me.

But I can't lie, I am disappointed to see my soldiers fighting like it is a school brawl.
Because there are no shield wall, an army of arrow soldiers could ruin a mighty army.
And because there are no tight formations, expect your range units that you probably put behind your melee units to get into a close-combat fight. It is terrible.

I tbh don't know to recommend the game or not. I played three kingdoms easily more than 5000 hours, and I would rather go back to that game and continue playing it. But this feeling of new stuff, and maybe just my sheer stupidity, makes me stay here for a while longer.
