Has great potential. If it wasn't for the major bugs this game would be unbelievable. As it is now, it is still very good, and one to watch. Deninitely needs multiplayer co-op once it's been polished up.

It's a real shame that this game was released the way it was, as this game could have had some real potential given more time and more intensive testing. The AI is awful and can be exploited to win impossible battles against. The launch was extremely buggy, to the point where they are still trying to iron out the kinks 7 patches in! The game has improved since launch but still has a long way to go. The optimization needs more work, and for god's sake sort us out with SLI, I don’t care who's responsibility it is! (CA or NVIDIA). Now when/if this game manages to iron out all its bugs and adds some more features then yeah, I'm sure this game would be awesome. But unfortunately I think they missed their chance no matter what they implement, as its just too little too late. Hopefully those of us who paid full price for this game can rely on the modding community to improve some of the aspects of this game. I have to say that all criticism aside I do enjoy playing this game, its a total war game after all! the basic fun element is still there, the graphics are nice, and I've sank a lot of hours into this title! But could I honestly convince a friend to spend full price for the base game alone in the state it's currently in?... Not with a clear conscience, no...
