The game was good until the latest patch 1.1.1 which showed that the game has no future. It is clear as day that the devs do not listen to player feedback nor do they playtest any of their content whatsoever and release them while being clearly unoptimized.

The character "balancing" part of the patch ironically made the game a lot less balanced overall.
  • For example, Ferry, as of patch 1.1.1, lacks DPS and any support capability since her SBA (special meter) gauge gain rate has been nerfed to the ground. She is now undesirable in endgame online parties since she no longer provide anything useful to the team (aside from a slow which other character with higher DPS, like Id or Vaseraga can also provide).
  • Another character that has been made less balanced by the patch is Zeta. She was, in my opinion, the middle of the DPS pack, but they decide to make her even weaker by "fixing" one of her core mechanic that allowed her chain into her main finisher (Arvess hammer) faster. This essentially lowered Zeta's DPS by about 15-20% during her supplementary damage buff.
  • The biggest nerf that people are mostly talking about is the Rotor Wirbel and the skill cancel bug fix on Percival. He used to be arguably the highest burst character (alongside Reckam aerial shotgun) but with the fix, it essentially made Percival a character that is much weaker DPS compared to other melee characters. This goes to show that the game is just inherently unbalanced and really makes you wonder whether any playtest have been done at all on the character balancing.

The newest raid, Lucilius, is fun. Until you do it for the 5th time.
  • The new sigils released along with the new patch can only be obtained by beating the Lucilius raid a number of times. While the raid itself can be consistently beat with practice, it doesn't justify the fact that the raid is time consuming. From personal testing, a typical run takes about 10 minutes (including cutscenes and mechanics). The devs clearly did not playtest the new raid more than once and they for sure did not max out the new sigil, otherwise they would realize how unoptimized it is for farming.
  • On top of being time consuming, the drop rate for the Tears of Apocalypse (material needed to craft and upgrade the new sigils) is very poor. From my experience, I get about 1 Tear of Apocalypse per clear and you need a total of 11 of these to max out one of these sigil (5 to buy, 6 to upgrade). So unless you're in a speedrun group, you'll probably be spending nearly 2 hours of doing a single raid just to max one sigil out.
  • As someone who have obtained 4 of these new sigils and almost have them all maxed out, I do not see any noticeable change in my clear time in previous content compared to before. Additionally, if you want to use these sigils while also still using cooldown and utility sigils, you will absolutely NEED the Supplementary Damage V+ sigil with good rolls. (It takes about 11000-13000 curios on average to obtain a Supplementary Damage V+ and that's with random rolls) so they're not even practical to use.
  • After 8+ hours of farming the new raid, I absolute DO NOT recommend anybody to do the raid more than 3 times. This is simply because there's no reason to, unless of course you enjoy it,are playing with friends, or you're one of those people that cheat their Supp V+ sigils in.

Devs don't listen to player feedback. We still don't have a mass sigil transmute system.
  • Before anyone say anything, yes I have seen the tweet that they are planning to add a mass sigil transmute into the game. However, this has been a thing players have been asking for since the 2nd week of launch. Nothing screams crappy devs more than a system that disrespect players' time, such as the sigil transmutation/transmarvel system. You can expect to be spending at least a third of your play time at end game to be sitting there with an autoclicker doing transmutation.
  • Once again going back to playtesting...if the devs were at all testing the game at endgame, they must have noticed the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ transmutation and transmarvel system.
  • I'd imagine making a mass transmute is not complicated but I think the devs are too lazy work on a system that is beyond the launch files.

Overall this latest patch was a huge L. This game was a one-and-done release for them while they put all their profit from this game onto the mobile game instead. I would not recommend purchasing this game because your time will not be respected and the devs won't care. If you do plan to play or are playing this game I would suggest not expecting anything in future updates and thank you for reading.
