Cross-platform doesn't work as of recent patch. Games ruined for anyone looking for that experience.

This has to be the WORST AC game of them all. Have played the first AC all the way to this one and this game is an embarrassment to the others before it.

Disgustingly clunky parkour to the point that I want to vomit when trying to climb even the smallest ledges but get tossed to one that shouldn't be an option from where I'm hanging.

The story falls flat right after the intro with pretty cinematics to make people who have no clue what a good AC game is think that this one is even decent compared to all the rest.

The game is choppy, even on my 3070ti, and this was released in 2014.

Whoever says this game is good must have been dropped on their head as a kid or have never played the other AC games.

Skip this garbage and just go right to Odyssey. Not even $5 is worth the stress and brain cells you will sacrifice trying to get through this mind numbing story and horrible game-play.

The game keeps crashing with err_gfx_state. Have spent hours trying to fix this just to try playing the game but it still have the same issue. Disabled overclocks. Deleted the SFX files. Reinstalled the game. Highly questionable how none of the other reviews mention this issue since it appears to be very common on other forums. CPU: i7-9700K GPU: 1080ti

Got to a point in the game where I literally can't progress, which is the mission you ride a blimp to bust John out of jail because anytime I go above the clouds the game just crashes and gives the ERR_GFX_STATE. Updated drivers, changed motherboards, and reinstalled the game. They have plenty of time to make sure micro-transactions function properly but when it comes to the game itself forget about it. These devs are a stain to modern games.

Tried to enjoy this game and I still do but after many hours there are still many issue that are not ironed out after 2 years.

THE ENGINE
- This game is constantly crashing on my system, 1080 ti + i7-9700K.
- Had to uninstall the game because it was not allowing a launch, stating that there's a corrupt file. After multiple other attempts on other drives it proceeds to have the same issue and continues to say there's a corrupt file on a fresh download.
- Basically ZERO options to change keybindings.
- There's very little difference between each server other than some having Friendly Fire on/off, allowing you to hold objects to avoid others walking into 9-14 intake to take your key card you risked your ass to find, and there's plenty of admin abuse that I see where admins no clip through maps to kill people they don't like or just not doing their job of getting rid of people intentionally trying to ruin matches by TK'ing.

GAMEPLAY
- FPS is no polished at all. Basically run as much recoil reduction as possible then put on a scope to hit easy head shots.
- Most of the SCP's 1-shot which leaves little interactions between the SCP's and the people trying to escape. If the SCP's 1-shot, then you need to have a mechanic where the people who are escaping can roll out of an attack or evade in some way.
- More than half the time you try closing doors the first click will not process for what ever reason and the keypads are spaced differently on each doorway causing you to close the door before you run through them sometimes.
- When someone gets an 05 key card and makes it to surface nuke room alone they can literally stall the game up to 15 minutes longer than it should be. The only way to stop them is if SCP-106 is in the game, SCP-096 is enraged and knows someone is hiding surface nuke room, or if they're dumb enough to let SCP-939 coax them into opening the door.
- SCP-096. Yeah. Probably the only SCP that should be removed from the game other than SCP-049 only because they both 1-shot people which provides no interaction. Not only that though, SCP-096 can just sit between Surface Gates A & B to prevent MTF or Chaos spawns by corner cheesing the enrage mechanic. This also makes it almost impossible for a D-Class or MTF victory if you're a fast & smart enough 096.
- Some of these maps are actually impossible to win against the SCP's when they hold hallways in Heavy Containment by killing the security guards early then holding a single hallway that leads to Heavy Containment Checkpoint. Then some maps are too easy where the elevators for Light Containment are right next to the Heavy Containment Checkpoint. No consistency in maps which isn't a bad thing, but make the maps so there's at least 2 or 3 hallways toward Heavy Containment exit.

Want to like this game but there's a lot of big things that need to be fixed.

Wanted to like this game but as far as PC gameplay, without a gamepad, goes this game is a complete mess. They have everything set up for you to use a mouse and keyboard, but do not tell any where in the menu options or setting of the game what the key binds are. As well you cannot adjust them to be a better/comfortable set up. This has RUINED sections of the game for me in terms of the Easedrop sections go where I struggle to find what they devs mapped the button to and has caused me to press the wrong button which triggers a fight, thus making it so I never get the chance to get the Easedrop. This to some people doesn't matter but to others like me it's completely game breaking and makes me not want to finish this supposedly great game since I can't fully experience it the way I was meant to.

This game doesnt deserve to be on the front page of steam. Rockstar is getting away with being greedy bastards, and steam shouldn't be okay with that.

Very fun game

Creative gamemodes. So it's about certain that there is a game mode for everyone.

Would very much recommend buying this
