While the LEGO Ninjago Movie didn't do so well, I really enjoyed it, and this game is equally enjoyable. It's a kids game, based on a kids movie, and when I accept that, it's much easier to love it. Of course, there's some issues with small glitches, but at the core, this game is fun. The animations are a little jagged, and maybe it's because of time constraints, but I feel like it really drives home that these are LEGO characters - tiny little action figures, running around and breaking things, collecting studs and saving the day! I love that feeling of playing with LEGOs again like an eight-year-old, kicking butts and all that. This game is great for that feeling of reliving those old days of playing with LEGOs without actually going to your parents' garage and pulling out that disorganized collection of LEGOs that you didn't bring to college. 8/10
