A mixed bag of emotions on this one, the Game is riddled with bugs and silly micro transactions for your kids to rinse your credit card of all your hard-earned cash. The game loop is nothing special, but considering it's EA and it's very early access, it's pretty good with that in mind. The game is also missing Coach Frank (this is the toughest to swallow), a legend of the first 3 titles and beloved by all the OG players. Save Coach Frank! Call up Jason Lee and please, let the hurt finally end. 💔



Despite these points, I find that I can't stop myself coming back for more! The Mechanics are solid, other than the random Physics spike (that launches you across the map, not unlike the first pinball in a classic era pinball machine), the gameplay remains fun and keeps you entertained. I found the store and loot boxes to be quite endearing once you get used to them. One point worth mentioning is that once you unlock an item, you get two prompts to accept each item; it's wearing my patience a little thin now. (Any devs reading this, PLEASE look into this asap)

Loot for just playing is easily earned with a little daily effort. The one event I have encountered thus far (Hallowen) was actually really fun; it included its own events and currency that you can earn through those events. The Items you could purchase with this currency were really easy to earn. An additional 100 was available daily through the store. I managed to collect all the Halloween items with a little effort daily for a while.



Given that this title is free and I've yet to spend anything on the game, the level of fun I've experienced for nothing is impressive. If, like me, you're a veteran of Skate 1-3 and you yearn for the old days...this Game does somewhat scratch that proverbial itch.



8/10 - For a free title, it's worth a go, especially for any old guard returning to fill that Nostalgia void. However, not worth investing any money into yet, in my humble opinion. If this title was retailing for something in the region of £20-30 then I would be giving this game a 3/10...it might be worth some investment in the future, but only time will tell if this game will blossom or fall into obscurity.

How this game still does not have a squeal (and no, i'm not counting GOLD) and yet we're on Civ 7?
No hate to Civ but it absolutely baffles me.

Arguably the best Pirate game I've ever played. Give it a refresh and let the hurt finally end.

We've just landed here on what cap troopers are calling "Big K" with the 6th Mobile Infantry division. It's an ugly planet, a bug planet! A planet hostile to life as we know it!

Savagely murder a couple of Dinos and adopt their baby as your own.

Grow close to and raise him, giving him some cool name like Slasher all while you wear armour made from his parents hides.

Terrorise the world with the poor guy, even battling, slaying and forcing Slasher to consume the meat of his own species.

All the while you hope, hope that he doesn't remember and enact his Bloody revenge.
