I honestly really struggle with rating this game. To be more precise, I struggle with recommending, not rating. This visual novel is an absolute beauty. I honestly loved the story and love how it was handled from beginning to end. That alone should make me want to recommend it. However, the series was officially brought to a halt. Knowing there is no continuation of the series I am deeply saddened and it is because it is so good that I fear others suffering as I have, thus I am afraid to recommend it. I played this game, knowing the series was cancelled, but I love well done visual novels. If you share this passion for a well done visual novel, I would highly recommend this series... if this series existed... Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If you've played this, you understand.

A classic example of a great Flash game, but unlike so many others, this one is done right. Few games can say they have the level of depth and complexity that this one has. Beautifully executed with plenty of built in mini games to keep you wanting to play and they never trully feel out of place. Good soundtrack and this game has a level of humor that is honestly on point and never trully feels out of place or delivered at the wrong time. A solid storyline that, while simplistic, will honestly tie you to the characters and pulls you into the game in a way few games this day and age have been able to achieve. I do, however, wish there was the option to replay some of the minigames more than once and that is honestly something I feel I am missing out on. All things said, I highly recommend this game.

I honestly struggled to rate this game. It is an absolutely beautiful and amazing 2D puzzle platformer and it is quite immersive. The concept behind the core ability to solve the puzzles is absolutely genius and well executed. Good soundtrack and great visuals. I honestly think that my biggest concern and/or issue with the game would be that while early on in the game you are given freedom to experiment and solve puzzles in multiple ways, as you press on it becomes more "there is only one way to solve this, good luck" oriented. I personally loved this game, beginning to end. I only wish the game had retained the felxibility that helped make it unique at the start, which was "Move the blocks how you want" as opposed to "Watch your timing of these moving blocks."

This is the RPG that no one asked for, simply because they had absolutely no idea what they were missing. This game takes you on an unforgetable journey and with so many different possible endings, you can't help but want to play it more than once. Addicting and satisfying, there is more than one way to solve every encounter with an opposing force and each is unique, stylish, and absolutely marvelous. I definitely recommend this game.

This is a review of the game while still in Alpha. There is no campaign built, yet, and the creators have just released a 2nd map. Options are extremely limited in regards to what you are able to do at this time. There is a list of bugs that need fixing... and with all that being said, I can not emphasize enough how great this game is. It really takes you back to the classics while allowing you to know that this is a modern game. The graphics are not a limitation, but rather are a huge plus to the creativity the developers are using. This game would be no where near as good as it is if it used stunning 3D art and visuals. This is a game of it's time for this time. I am looking forward to seeing where this project leads.

I found this game extremely hard to rate, hence my unusual rating system for this one. This game, in essence, is a "seek and find" book with mini interactive puzzles. To be 100% honest, this is visually attractive, but as a "game book" did not receive a better rating due to the length of it. This is extremely overpriced for a game. This is something you might see at a second hand store and debate if it's worth the 25 cents to buy it... although, in the time it takes you to debate buying it, you could just sit down and finish it in one sitting. Also, there are no instructions... at all... I spent as much time figuring out how to do the puzzles and item hunting as I did actually solving this. Final recommendation? Don't waste your time.

The Howler is a very simplisic, yet stylish, game that you would expect to see only as a phone game. That being said, there are a lot of games that are built only for the phone that I would love to have made available on the computer. The game is addictive... for the first hour of play. Simplicity is the expectation you have going into this, and though there are challenging points, you feel about as much accomplishment as you do expectation for more depth. I recommend this game as a good game to pass the time. Value? Max you should pay is 2. if you can get it for that and are just looking for something to hold you over until that new release, give it a go.

A short and sweet highly addictive game. I thought I would give it a try for a little bit... I couldn't put it down. 2 hours through it and I complete the storyline to reveal a second playthrough with a twist. The mechanics made me instantly want to hop back into the story a second time right as I finished the first run. They are flawless. Oh, and if you are wondering why I didn't do that second playthough as soon as I complete the first, the only reason is I had to hop on over here to write this review to get the word out to everyone. Nihilumbra. Beautiful story, art, mechanics, and game. Worth a grab for 5 to 10 dollars, I would even say to grab it at 15 if it is not on sale.

An addictive puzzle and platform sidescroller, Braid does it all right. Great level design and masterfully timed puzzle challenges make this a great game with a compelling story that will leave you speechless. Highly recommended grab for 15 or less, but worth 20 if you don't find it cheaper.

Sometimes, it's nice to kick back and play a game. Sometimes, it's nice to kick back and listen to music. Combining the two may not be the newest trend (Live on DDR), but it's still a nice dual purpose kick back. Audio Surf is great for that... but that is it's only purpose. Nice time stealer, but nothing outstanding. Interested? A good grab for 5 dollars if you can.
