I'm a simple man that appreciates simple things like pushing buttons.

I played it free on Gamepass and beat it on Super Nova. Liked it so much I decided to buy it outright here on Steam so I could do it all over again and play the DLC.

I like Farcry 5. I like the characters. I still quit playing this DLC within the, 'exposition/tutorial' portion
I don't know how they made it so garbage, but they did.

It's fine. It's even kind of good. But the way they try to incentivize Micro/realworld transactions really sours everything. There comes a point where the dev can argue, "b-but you can do it all for free!" But this doesn't answer what they do to the actual game to try to get you to pay in.
Pure garbage from that perspective. Good in almost every way that really matters.
Devs can blame whomever they want. They did this though.

If I had known it was so monetized in such a garbage way I'd have probably went through the trouble of not paying for it at all even if it was a bundle.
I won't even dock points for it feeling like a FC5 DLC. I liked FC5 enough I'd have been down.
WTF Ubisoft

Not only is it clunkier than Batman Arkham City which came prior, It somehow manages to be more jank than the very first title in the series. You will play the way they want you to play, you won't enjoy it much at multiple if not almost all points. You WILL use the glue grenade, whoever reskinned the ice grenade is SUPER proud of it and you WILL utilize it always. The worst bosses out of all the Batman games mechanically.
It's fine batman content but as a game it fails so hard and so often it's not even funny. Get it if you want to slog through misery for a decent-ish story.
That's the whole vibe I get from this game, it's like they wanted to make a Batman movie but could only get the right to shoehorn a game in between Rocksteadys titles and it really shows.
I won't bother on the saving graces much, I put in quite a bit of time into it so there's that and if you like Batman content enough to overlook such things you don't really need a review anyway.

From a purely gameplay perspective I can't recommend this to anybody really.
