This is my 3rd Monster Hunter game and I feel like this game is more accessible to newcomers of the franchise compared to the older titles. That doesn't mean the game hasn't been dumb down to appeal to a broader audience, it is more like Capcom did a lot more quality of life changes to the core mechanics of the game.

The monsters are always fun to fight, especially the end game monsters. The gear looks great ( I would say the male characters armor looks better than the females) and same with the weapons. There is so much replayability to this game that you can't find in a lot of games just due to the amount of armor, weapons, gems and materials you can grind for. Iceborne adds even more monsters to hunt and even more gear and armor to get as well. Base game alone, I put in about 250 hours just grinding out optimal builds for high rank. Iceborne DLC Master Rank which is this games G-Rank, and adds even more monsters and gear and a lot more time for you to replay the game to get the next meta builds in the game.

The only thing I would say that the games story isn't that great and isn't really important at all to the game. Some people might think its okay or fine, others think it's bad and pointless.

I would high recommend this game for anyone that is looking to grind, feel bad ass killing awesome monsters, and getting better and hunting monsters and trying to get beat monsters as quickly as possible.

I will start by saying I freaking love this game. This game has to be one of my favorite games.
The reason I don't recommend the game is because in update 1 of the game, they added Denuvo anti-cheat software into the game, 2 months after the release of the game. It causes performance issues just playing the game and runs at all time due to running at a kernel level of your operating system, which if the software is cracked, can cause a hacker to have full control over your computer and to top it off, you can't even play the game if you uninstall Denuvo. You boot up the game and it will just reinstall Denuvo without you getting notified of it being installed. I have uninstalled the game for now until Denuvo is removed from the game. They went in and completely ruined a game that is easily one of the best games ever made and probably the best game of 2020 with one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anti-software.
