It’s a functional boxing game that leaves a bit to be desired. It’s hard to recommend the game knowing how frustrating the gameplay can be, but it’s also hard to not recommend given the lack of boxing games on Steam.

Pros
- On a basic level the mechanics of the game work to create a functional boxing game. It has the basic gameplay mechanics you would expect like blocking, sidestep, and being able to mix a variety of combinations. Counter punching off a miss is very satisfying.
- The roster is mostly strong. For a game not called Fight Night, I would argue this is a pretty decent roster. The presentation for fighters like Katie Holmes, Ali, and Tyson Furry, amongst the others are spot on and super realistic looking.

Cons
- Boxers across the spectrum lose a ton of stamina, way too fast. Matches can slow down a bit by the third or fourth round. It’s weird seeing Ali get winded after 5 punches so early in a fight.
- Punches that should be blocked occasionally land, and punches that should miss, occasionally hit. It happens often enough where the game starts to become frustrating to play, especially during tense moments.
- The commentary is really poor and often does not match the tone of the fight. For example, hearing the commentator say that it’s knock out or bust after a close first round, in a 10 round fight.
- Career mode is a bit convoluted with the menus and is not user friendly. Negotiating fight payouts and fame is also a bit too easy. In my opinion, there is too much focus on dealing with menus outside of the ring to improve your boxer and to be in good shape before a fight, and it’s generally not presented well.
- There is something awkward about throwing straights – they often go above the opponents head, even when there appears to be an opening. Hooks dominate the matches because they are the fastest punches thrown. Even jabs sometimes, have this bizarre slow down.

If you are a casual boxing fan who can stomach some of the flaws of the game, it’s worth it on a sale. If you really enjoyed Fight Night and are looking to recreate the amazing moments you had playing that game 10 years ago, you will be disappointed.

It’s hard to recommend the game. I found the gameplay pretty frustrating after 20 hours and taking on more challenging opponents. 2/5 stars from me.

Proper remake of a classic. The removed music can easily be readded with a simple mod (file drop).

Not worth the $60 price tag IMO, but a sale of $30 (10 per game) seems fair.

I can beat the crap of Jake Paul, endlessly, in every venue, and with every fighter. Thank you Steel City.

*Post 2024 Patch*

Pros
- It's the same GTA III you knew and loved as a kid. Same story, same great characters.
- Graphical fidelity is a major step up
- The autosave feature saves a lot of wasted time if you fail a mission, allowing you pick right back up at the start of the mission.
- There is a mod scene and you do not have to lose any songs from the original game. It's a simple file drop.

Cons
- Some occasional performance drops, especially on the Steam Deck.
- Rockstar launcher is a pain to deal with
- Streets and graphics while impressive, sometimes appear to clean and like plastic.

Overall, I would likely not recommend at a full $60, but a 50% or more sale seems more than appropriate.

Pros
- Great, easy to pick up, hard to master gameplay with a very robust level of difficulty across four categories (hitting, running pitching, defense)
- 20 Stock Stadiums (3 DLC)
- Franchise, Season, Draft
- Over 30 stock teams to start, all of which can be easily edited, tweaked, or rebuilt to your liking. Custom uniforms, colors, logos - the whole nine.

Cons
- They did something funky with the physics of the players and jerseys sometimes "blend" unnaturally into themselves.
- Former MLB players don't add a lot of value.

If you have the third game, you probably can wait for sale - 4 is an improvement from 3, but not as drastic of an improvement from 2 to 3 or 1 to 2.

5/5 - Best in Class. Best Baseball game you can find on Steam.

Pros:
- Immersive environment. They do a fantastic job recreating the stations and and it's most noticeable when traveling through office corridors and especially the train tunnels. You feel like you are back in Metro 2033/Last Light environment. Huge win for VR fans.
- Decent story.
- Good gunplay. It's not the best in VR but they nail all the basics.
- Enemy AI is pretty good for the VR space - enemies will flank and move around to kill you. It can be challenging even on normal difficulty.
- Great performance. Though, I had to run the game with SteamVR XR overlay, and not allow Virtual Desktop or Oculus to take over. If you do, you will experience low fps dips and stuttering. Make sure you take the five minutes to set your configuration correctly.

Cons
- Environment is not as interactive as it appears. Lot of invisible walls, fake drawers, and items that can't be actually touched. I was also disappointed to see how items you can touch move naturally through the environment.
- Slow start to the game in chapter 1 -2.
- Minor textures glitches (not common) - the green light over the generator is comical.
- Playing to the least common denominator - Quest 3. Though the game plays well, it overall feel and look of the game was made to fit on the Quest.

There is a great game here. Metro is on VR and Vertigo Games does an overall decent job recreating the environment and delivering a fun game. I'm halfway through but happy with my purchase. I think it's worth the $40, or less on a sale.

--

Overall, 3/5. It's not Half Life Alyx, but it's certainly not another poor indy title. There's a good game to played here and worth the price of admission.

My scale:
1 = Unacceptable
2 = Needs Improvement
3 = Meets Expectations
4 = Exceeds Expectations
5 = Outstanding - Among the best in class.

What an absolute joy ride this game was. It's very rare that I play a game like this and follow through with all the side missions, side quests, and attempt to unlock every skill and armor type. The gameplay is addictive, the environment is beautifully crafted, and stories are written as well as anything you will find in the games industry.

Ghost of Tsushima is like Titanic in that the events are real, but the characters and stories are made up for the sake of entertainment. I ended up learning a good amount about Japanese Samuri, their fighting styles, and how the Mongols changed their vision on war.

This was an incredible game. It performs really well with some very minor, non-game breaking bugs (I had two over my 55 hours), and is highly recommended to anyone with interest. If you have a PS5 controller, the added functionality makes the game very immersive. VR users have the option to play with a third party mod, though, it's not a great overall experience.

9.5/10

After all the negative feedback on the base game, Bethesda really needed to deliver a good quality DLC. This DLC fails to achieve that goal and like the base game is just so mediocre, at best. I am blown away as to how bad and uninspiring the writing is. This is honestly some of the worst writing I have seen in any game I have played.

Starfield and this DLC has really only done a few things - waste time, money, and prove that Bethesda is no longer the industry titan that it once was.

My hype and interest in Elder Scrolls 6 is gone. You can forget any sort of preorder in the future.

Arizona Sunshine 2's otherwise great story, voice acting, and presentation are consistently undercut by frustrating gun/ammo management, poor level design such as invisible walls/barriers, and a sloppy two handed weapon mode (pistols). Multiplayer is again a bare bones effort, not worth more than a few hours of your time - at best.

Even at the sale price of $30, the game fails to deliver a strong, mid tier VR experience you'd be expecting from an established VR game company like Vertigo Games. I think the game can be an enjoyable, one and done experience once you work around the clunky item management and design, but not for the asking price.

VR developers like Vertigo need to do better than this in 2023/2024 if they are serious about growing the VR playerbase and attracting new players. Nothing here is new, interesting, or unlike anything you have already seen.

This may go down as one of my favorite fighting games, ever. It's a great experience for new comers, beginners, intermediates, and experts, playing either single or multiplayer. The lore, character design, and unlockables add a lot of depth to an already fantastic fighting game.
