Having just fully completed the achievements, I will say this is one of the best 5 bucks you could spend. Super easy to pick up, hard to put down type of game. If you're looking for nostalgia and addicting gameplay, this is it! Synergies are great, music is fitting, weapons are awesome and have some cool mechanics (I'm looking at you fishing pole). The first time I got a "corruption" in this game, I didn't even know that mechanic existed and it made me want to play it over and over again. You unlock more and more things to do, as well as cursors to help you out. Mini games with purpose, cool bosses. It's honestly a steal and I probably would've picked it up for 10 bucks if I was aware of how much was actually packed into this deceptively small looking game.

You know what you're getting yourself into. It's free. For what it is, this game is satisfying and relaxing perfection. DLC is cheap, too. This company more than nailed it on the head.

Love this game. It's nostalgia done well. Its simultaneously been modernized. If you remember Theme Hospital at all even slightly, that means you probably look back at it happily wishing it would make a come back. This is it, it's got plenty to keep you busy and honestly if you're looking for a relaxed experience this is also it. If you take this game slow and let it ease you into it (which it does extremely well), you will enjoy what it gives you.

This review is long overdue. Firstly let me tell you if you look at this and compare it to Minecraft, you're gonna have a bad time.
I've bought this on multiple consoles and I am a fan of just about every type of game like this. But I will say in a sea of games in this category (especially when this was first released), this game stands alone. Much like David Pumpkins, it's its own thang.

Admittedly I didn't buy this immediately when it first came out because, well Minecraft, ya know? I passed by this so many times in the store and chuckled to myself "Why on Earth would I play a game in 2D that already exists in 3D and looks terrible compared to it?". Well, the game never got bad reviews, everyone said the same thing "just try it, it's not what you think"

Well, I revisited the page, watched the trailer yet again and there were a few things that stood out to me that I decided "I've got nothing to lose really, fine"

I was hooked. It gave me so many good memories, and continues to do so. Every year, I always get this itch to play the game again, usually just starting over from the beginning and just working my way up again because it is so SO fun. Even better with friends, as these games tend to be.

I want to tell you all the reasons you should be playing this over Minecraft, but that's not fair to either game because they are two very different experiences despite seeming to be the same at first glance.

Just go ahead, pick it up. Stop thinking about it and just. do it. Yesterday, you said tomorrow. JUST....DO IT.

If you like loot, crafting, a feeling of accomplishment, fun or if you exist and are a living, breathing human being, you deserve this game. I mean at this point i'm probably only talking to about 2 people who DON'T own this game yet, let's be real here. Augustus, Carolyn, wherever you are just stop whatever you're doing and pick this up.

This is what a 5 star game looks like, people. Breathe it in.
