Pleasantly surprised. Though I tripped the hell out at the bug at the end, if you get stuck in a 'This choice is blank" loop close the game out entirely and restart. You can continue by clicking on random options though and eventually you get some weird test room things going on. Looked like a horror movie replay of several scenes on my end, halting at Bigby's floating head flying around.

It is a good story. Good characters. Beast is a little ♥♥♥♥♥ though.

The gameplay feels a little clunky and there's some obvious graphical errors, like movement issues visually (characters and enemies being on different tiles than represented) but as long as you just keep track of where things should be it's not bad. It took a couple attempts before I got movement down but I find that I really like this game.

I'm a fan of roguelike games. Take control of a band of four clunky units with limited vitality and slim hope of a future to try to survive. I haven't played this for very long, and have not survived to floor 3 but then again I keep selecting hard mode each time for no significantly important reason.

It is still a good game though it feels like it could use some TLC by the devs.

This is a great game. It is a pet project for a Harvest Moon clone that grew up into a big and healthy thing. The story of the creator and him getting the approval of the original Harvest Moon creator is really something amazing too!

Gameplay wise, basically think - Rune Factory minus the suck. Way worth it.

This is a fantastic game.

I originally played Shadowgate for NES and a lot of it's feel (and some design) is very much the same. Some things are missing it seems now but still have references (the toll troll on the bridge and coins for example).

I beat the original as a kid and I remember there was a storyline but it wasn't very clear. Of course, no kid really wants to put pieces together manually like we are looking at Dark Souls storyline so I never really followed along. I really liked the story and this game's concept. The thing I really appreciate I think is that this is remastered by the original development team. This isn't just some title someone took and used to sell their own idea, it's the original creators reforging an idea they had. I appreciate that a lot, and this game was made with care.

The curse was a pain but it was so fulfilling to remove it. Some of the puzzles are very abstract but none of them are beyond reach.

The music was really nice to hear as well. The remastered tracks are good.

There is honestly a firm chance that the firm approval I have for this game is heavily influenced by my childhood memories of the game and it's similar counterparts (Such as Deja Vu). As a puzzle game it's quite good and it captured the feel of Shadowgate remarkably well. I cannot wait to try Beyond Shadowgate (never knew there was a sequel at all) when they finish the remake of it, which should be somewhat soon I believe. Keep it up, you amazing development team you!

Obviously inspired by Firefly and Cowboy Bebop, this game is a run and gun shooter. The play mechanics are very similar to Fallout Tactics and the newer X-Com games with two movement AP. There is a little bit of wiggle room for customization but the customation level is not very expansive as of yet (keeping in mind this being an Early Access game currently) and the current game structure has a few classes you can play as which are represented by different characters.

I personally like this type of setting a lot. The theme is great, though it does explain itself as a sci-fi western there really aren't any free roaming elements or space at all. This is not what the current game is about anyway and if they never took that in as an expansion idea the game could still be fun. As a random tactical shooter it is enjoyable.

Expanding this to have some form of main game beyond the pvp matches though would be an amazing feat and would basically make it Cowboy Bebop Online. Mix in some planets, space ships, space travel and unique character customization and you've got yourself a great equation for a fantastic MMO.

As it is though, it's something I burn out on kinda quick but enjoy as I play. Definitely give it a shot.

This is a fantastic game. It is like Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts if they held up to their ambitions with it.

Honestly I had assumed I knew what Robocraft was and I thought it was garbage. I came to realize no, was thinking of Roblox. This is the creative game for the creative mind. Making something from pieces you get as you play and using it for multiplayer is such a fulfilling thing.

Give this thing a legitimate try. No forced tutotials. Not really a pay to win game at all. Multplayer community appears to not be toxic at all.

Play this game sometime!

IN RESPONSE TO Tortture AND SIMILARLY MINDED NEGATIVE REVIEWERS:

It sounds like you are part of a very large community of players who feel betrayed by recent updates. As I understand it, it took serious devotion and dedication to get a lot of the power the older players have and the update made it much easier to get to that level. I'd be a little salty myself but as a game developer myself I have a very hard time agreeing with your complaint here. I have just a few points to address.

I joined two days ago, level 45, giant robots. Paid nothing. Not pay to win.

Regarding Premium: I see a lot of things that are premium only, but you get three free days as well as occasionally released free premium days. All things you configure while on premium remain - paint jobs, player icons, seriously what are you all so hurt about? Premium is a luxury, not a necessity, and within two days of gameplay I have enough parts to have six fully operational and kick ass robots. People complain about the crates system but I actually view it as a proven and successful system. Take a step back for a moment and consider the entertainment value in random loot. It's a roguelike feature mixed with gambling and some players really love mechanics like that. Premium thus far seems like a great way to encourage players to pay for bonuses and support the lifespan of the server. Generally, pay to win suggests the game economy or statistics are so heavily influenced by money that you can toss a few bucks at a game and get things of unreasonable power. This is not such a game. This is not pay to win, you're just mad.

I see a lot of people whining and complaining rather than offering actually legitimate advice to the development team on what they would like to see done. Frankly -in my experience as a game developer, head administrator of a team of fifteen managing a playerbase of two hundred players on an independent game- it's rather rare to hear players approach things in a logical fashion. This is a video game, it's going to be alright. Systems change and things evolve - you're not mad about an unfair game environment, you're upset about all that work you put into the game only to have it become easy mode after you endured hardcore mode. That's understandable and a legitimate gripe, but you don't help things by adding problems. Collectively making vague and petty slanders at the game doesn't make you helpful. That makes you part of the problem.

If you really want to make a difference for this game do it by maybe signing up on their forum, posting ideas - suggestions - feedback - anything that could actually be used for the betterment of the game.

However your current attitude and the disposition of all the previous negative reviewers suggests you have no legitimate issue with the game. You have an issue yourself, as you are mad about something being altered you don't agree with.

If you're going to complain, at least do it in a beneficial manner.

Minecraft: The Quest for Fun

Thirty minutes into the game, I still have not really found where the fun is hiding at. It's a great concept but I feel it probably needs some looking into balancing. Maybe giving people a basic starter kit. If I had to pay for this I would legitimately feel like I was robbed, but it's free and I like what the team has done so far. It has promise, certainly!

Escape Velocity (They'll try to kill you with a forklift) happens to be one of my all time favorite games, and to this day the only reason I would ever seriously consider having a Macintosh computer.

I was seriously impressed by Endless Sky. I spent all of fourteen minutes on it before I died with a smile. The developers of this game have done a great service to the community by ensuring the general feel, mechanics, and existence of a classic game will survive on into the next generation of players.

If you haven't tried this game I seriously suggest you do. The point of this game is whatever point you wish to aim for. Though, I used to really like playing with Hardcore on and the shop layout bugs me a little - that's only because my brain says they should look like the classics. But when you land even those menus are arranged in a similar fashion.

My totally minor gripe is personal taste concern, and has nothing to do with the smoothness in which this game properly represents a childhood favorite.
