Best Batman game ever made.

I've waited 25 years for this sequel

The inventory and buddy system really doesn't work and only gets in the way of the game. Furthermore the story doesn't gel up with Resident Evil 1 as well at it could. Although I wouldn't say it's a horrible game, I would certainly rank this last in the mainline series.

A nice social deduction game where real time combat plays a major role. Although maybe a bit too much of a role as it feels like combat focuses builds played by experienced FPS players will tend dominate. Unlike The Ship and it's iterations you spawn with a ranged weapon right from the start of a match while ammo is in fairly ample supply. Additionally there's no 'arrest' or 'alarm' mechanic to punish players who go 'loud'. There ARE guard NPCs who will attack players in line of sight after they break cover but they have low HP and low damage, so the environment is merely a speed bump against solos and teams who want to play aggressively.

Overall this can make things a little disappointing if you were more interested in the social deduction gameplay and the spying theme. Still I give the game a pass for having a nice aesthetic, few technical issues and a reasonable price point.
