Early Access Review
If this was slightly worse it would be so bad it's funny but it's just a snoozer.

Great game for just zoning out honestly. It's nice to look at, even at its craziest. I love the little characters and critters. It's also pretty dang fun. It can get frustrating sometimes, especially with weird DLC enemy balancing issues, but that's a big draw anyway. Chegg it out baby

Pros: this game makes you FEEL like a purple la creature spitting acid on losers

Cons: some characters are just so absurdly better than others it kinda hurts when the worse one gets nerfed.

Definitely my favorite RPG of all time. Wonderful world and characters. The level of detail with interactions make this stand out as an exceptionally immersive game.

CONS: I think it can lose some steam in later parts of the game but I still heart it.

PROS: So there's this red lizard...

One of the best games ever made in my little opinion. I was told the best way to play this is by going in knowing nothing. That was absolutely 100% accurate but I also feel like that only works on people who really appreciate a slow burn in stories.

If you like getting wrapped up in the histories and mysteries of a world then you really need to check this out.

PROS: Game good

CONS: game really good

When I first saw the trailer, this seemed completely incomprehensible. That's exactly why I started playing. I looked at this and though, "I want to figure this thing out."

This is genuinely my favorite FPS game I've ever played. That's can seem like hard statement to make considering how gargantuan some of the genre's huge (and small) hits are. Developers, Sorath, said they wanted to "make a game that played, looked and sounded like it was a dream from the future." I think they absolutely achieved this. The visual design and direction of this moves far beyond anything I've seen and after just a short time of play is easily deciphered. Visual cues (and some audio) make themselves present and known. Enemies behind you flash red, enemies close enough to slow time when dodging flash their eyes, so on. It is weirdly perfect how something so unnatural in look can be so natural in feel.

Even if you have never played 2016's Devil Daggers, a game where your score goes up with how long you survive, also developed by Sorath, you'll probably get why the game is also so intense outside of the visuals. From the immediate start of a run, your score is draining at a constant rate and killing is the only way to raise that. It creates incredible aggression. Killing an enemy, or group of enemies, is the only way to get more enemies to spawn. Which means more ways to die at a single time but more sources of adding points to your score. It's totally addicting.

Even if you don't see yourself playing many super fast games, if you can stand the insane visuals then I absolutely recommend it. I think players of all skill levels can enjoy it, especially since the natural progression of the game shapes itself to the player's pace.

PROS: This game makes you FEEL like the hyper demon.

CONS: I will literally kill you if you say bad things about this.

This is everything I wanted it to be and more. Installation is a hassle but the sim itself is breathtaking, really. Control-wise, it's as tight as you might expect from a flight simulator. General aviation planes are recreated amazingly. The airliners leave a bit to be desired in terms of interactivity in the cockpit but they still get the job done well.

Something about having the whole actual earth to explore is something else. I don't mean just visually. Like the thought of passing through mountains and towns and wondering what kind of life hangs around there. Like passing a cabin in the middle of nowhere and wondering who lives there. I love that sense of wonder.
