Seeing this DLC as Mixed Review perplexes me. I have been enjoying DLC so much. Going through other peoples reviews I notice some criticism that are worth mentioning and some that I think aren't specific enough or that I don't agree with.

First lets talk about Difficulty. I think the DLC is hard and its supposed to be this way. I am level 125 and I am choosing not to level up at all due to that its mostly agreed upon that its PVP Level, Right now I have 8 Scadutree Blessing and 5 revered Spirit ash blessing. When I beat the first boss at Belurat I was about 4 for both and felt the fight was fair. The problem I see people is that they go to these hard bosses and just stick to them. With the base game, im sure everyone did a couple attempts on the very first boss, failed and said ill come back later. I don't get why people are having an issue here when they simply need to get stronger with new items, its not a new concept from base game so why is it here? Perhaps that tutorial is turned off for people and they didn't notice that these items help, which was the case for me until I found out they gave me a note in my inventory in the recent tab. Now I will admit there are a couple bosses that throw out a Waterfowl Dance attack on some bosses but its not outrageous like Malenia's move. You can dodge it. Some bosses have a crazy amount of stamnia and I think we all know who were talking about. I beat her with 8 and 5 blessings. It was hard but I learned her moves and I was able to dodge and understand her patterns finally, it took a while but I managed to do it and was doing good damage to feel like I could beat her.

The last Issue I want to speak of Performance, before starting DLC I was using a mod to place items on my map to show where things are, meaning I had to disable easy anticheat. I already played the game and didn't want to open a website on the second monitor only for it to be buggy most of the time. I had no FPS Drop what so ever on Ultra settings no Ray tracing. But coming into DLC with no mods now There are performance drops I have to drop to High. Now i'm mostly certain this is caused by easy anti cheat as well as maybe some performance issues on Elden ring they can fix. But I am not having these issues like other people are saying they're having. I have a 6800XT card and a i5-13600KF CPU. I run most of my games in Ultra or High on 1920 x 1080. So yes I think they need to work on performance more and I think the anti Cheat engine they have is costing more performance as well. I also think people haven't played in a long time and that there ray tracing is on automatically, when they first released ray tracing it was turned on by default. Ray tracing in this game sucks. It doesn't work and doesn't give anything notable. So my advice for people who want performance is that they turn off Easy anti cheat, you can do this by going to some modding websites; Turn graphic settings lower and turning off Ray tracing completely.

Those are the main issues I see people are talking about. With my Review here I think the DLC is great, it recaptures the first time I played in Elden ring except with my knowledge of the game already and exploring a new world that seems so alien to me. Bosses are great with few movesets I would maybe not have repeat. Some bosses are brought back by base game but they're not bosses in this DLC so far (Other than dragons but they're reskin of them now). Weapons and spells are amazing. Environment is stunning.

Also forgot to mention that the Dungeons are great too but the rewards are really ♥♥♥♥ for some. Like one smithing stone that I can buy from the bell ladies.

This is my first time playing RE4, never played the original. This is an amazing action survival game. I do not think it really fills in the horror as it only has some creepy elements but Leon with his arsenal and combat abilities gets rid of that feeling of fear. I think the best part of the game is actually the beginning with the village. That's the only time where Leon doesn't have much weapons and a whole village is coming after you and you have to survive which actually makes situation really tense but its the best part. The game does a great job escalating but as you get past the village you get to the castle and the island it becomes a little weird to think that in this game but its still fun. Lot of people have issues with some of the VA and I did listen to the original VA lines and I do think they're better but this game VA is fine too. Guns are fun and great. Progression towards weapons and weapon upgrade is fun. The game has a lot of things to do while playing the story, like shooting range, bounties, and treasure. This game has a lot of replay value with new game plus system, as well as unlockables you can get by just playing the game.

If you never played Resident Evil Series I do recommend this game for newer players or maybe trying 1 or 2.

This is my first entry to the Dead Space series, and I have to say this game was amazing. Possibly one of my top games now. This game performs well, looks great, game play is fantastic, and the story is intriguing. The level design is great although some of the hallways look similar but wasn't hard to navigate. The atmosphere, lights, and sounds are amazing, I wasn't scared of the enemies most of the time but the environment help create tense moments. Music is amazing and well put together, once combat happens the music goes absolute crazy and it fits so well, it helps create intense moments. I played this game on hard because I heard that the medium difficulty wasn't really difficult or have intense moments, but hard wasn't too hard either, there were only a few times I had moments where I had no heals or much ammo but I never had to run from a fight unless it was a brute and at that time I didn't really know how to take them out. Combat game play is amazing with so many weapons and tools at your disposal. Upgrading in this game is rewarding, every upgrade item or enhancement had something for you. Enemies and enemy designs are great and with many variety of them. Throughout the game you will encounter these monsters and learn their weak points and who to target first. Characters were well thought out and felt like people who have their own goals and thoughts.

Issues and Bugs
I did run into 6 issues while playing this game. The first was a simple fix, I didn't play this on my ssd initially and had levels and enemies not load in the first time I was playing the game, switch the game to ssd and restarted help it out. One major issue was while playing for long period of times I would be kicked into an infinite loading screen and would need to restart, this didn't affect me too much in some cases, I didn't lose much progress but it was noticeable and made me a bit annoyed at points, this happened to me at least 3 times my entire initial play through. Another issue was glitchy cutscene merging, what I mean by this is later in the game I ran into an issue where I died a little after a cutscene and loaded back in and tried to do that section again, but once I tried to open the door that starts the cutscene, I lose control of my character and I just stand there with no cutscene, did this multiple times and my fix to it was to be really close to the door before opening. and one other issue I would like to mention is frame rate gets worse as the game progress and when you're at the final boss my game frame rates drop down to 20 from 60-100 average. I had to turn my graphics down to low when I was fighting the last boss to get at least a 30 frame rate going.

Still enjoyable but had many issues and complaints. I prefer the first over this title. Snow fox (fell through floor many times, controls weird, fragile, and picking up/riding/upgrades access is really annoying) and Snow penguin (VERY SLOW AND POINTLESS OTHER THAN 1 ITEM) aren't really fleshed out and I had many issues with them. Story was decent but had some points where I didn't know where to look for or I would get the ping of a location when I am coming from that location that I fully discovered. Its not as scary as the first game though I don't think it needs to be scary. Music was great and fitting. The map is mostly water but had more land this time around, which I kind of enjoyed, the land was mostly buggy and I think if they made it less buggy it and kind of did more with it it would be better. Miss the submarine but sea truck wasn't too bad but that was really the only vehicle with mobility. Enemies were kind of boring, most look the same as most of them had squid like mouths action going on. Environment was interesting but was very clustered and made it annoying to build habitats in, also the environments were neat but the first game did a better job with this and making them spacious. This game makes everything glow most of the time but it doesn't look too bad and I do find it pretty. With the enemy type leviathans there were only 2 (that I could think of) and only one of them was a scary surprise and big but this enemy was so common in one end game area there were 4 or 6 of them down there making it so annoying to navigate in while I was looking for a quest location that I didn't get a ping location for and was kind of annoying to find.

Overall I had fun, but had some of that enjoyment ruined with bugs and sometimes boring elements they added in that I felt wasn't fully fleshed out.

Puzzles are pretty easy and only a couple took more than 5 minutes. Story, characters, design and looks of the game is great. There are times in the game where you will be killed by bad collision and such. If the devs wanted to I bet they can fix that up real quick and also do more with the puzzles and the ending or maybe a 2nd play through being different . But I didn't have a bad time and really enjoy the concept of rewinding time.

Devs do a ptb and then don't do any good changes. Killer power was weak in ptb and they did nothing to help on it. Map issues were present in ptb but no changes. The survivor atleast is the only good thing from this dlc. Would've been a cool chapter but they missed all the marks.

Overall had a good time with the game and its decent for a small group of devs. Good at the start but it feels rushed and rough up work at the end of the game. Level design is great until the ending. Story is okay, still leaves a bunch of missing holes and unanswered questions. Combat is just basic gun play but there is only 2 enemy types and the 3 bosses in this game are just bullet sponges. Good puzzles but some led me to look them up because it isn't clear sometimes.

If you like resident evil style game play this game is pretty similar.
