One of the best games ever made.

Unfortunately better than Bannerlord

Ran by Gaijin so it has its ups and downs. If you have played War Thunder you know what I'm talking about. But if you are used to it it's the best FPS available imo.

I am no bootlicker. I will be the first in line to ♥♥♥♥ on a company that deserves it. Yet here my review is positive because this is the one of precious few that deserve grace.

At the end of the day, I'm writing this review to simply counter a negative one because I feel it is undeserved to give such criticism to a company that has never had more than a few thousand players tops, let alone world-record historical success.

worth the few bucks, a few solid hours of underrated fun

good game, don't listen to the haters. It's popular to hate new games right now, also, don't buy from the cash shop.

I want to start out by saying a few things about me before we jump into this. I have played every battle field since 1943 released in 2009 so as far as titles I have played them all save the first 3 or so. I feel entitled to comment on just all this craziness surrounding its launch and while I feel justified recommending this.

Starting a few years ago we started finally holding companies accountable for their actions, such as Blizzard or EA. We live in a time where ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on these mega corporations come first and worrying about a game comes second. For the most part I agree. What matters in a game to me however is if it is fun. I can personally burn out of games incredibly quickly. I am sure there are plenty of you who can't play the same game for more than a week or two before losing all of the fun out of it.

But this game HAS that classic battlefield feel imo and it's great to play a decent modern shooter again. So set aside how everyone else feels and give it your own try and then refund it if you don't like it. It is Steam and they refund almost anything it doesn't have to be such high stakes. Also, NERF VEHICLES! Seriously, I think I have died more to helicopters than people in this game.

I wrote this review a while ago at this point when the game was arguably in its worst state. In the heat of all its controversy I still managed to have fun, which is rare in games in general right now. I hop on today, 6/21/2022, and notice that after all is said and done i've been betrayed by a game I genuinely enjoyed playing.

There is now a battlepass for this game. Battlepasses are predatory and have no place in the video game scene, especially when I gave you 60 dollars when you didn't even finish your game. At this point, it feels personal, like you are deliberately chasing the poor people from you games because they aren't worth it and would rather rely on the few who can afford to pay for new content on a subscription model.

♥♥♥♥ this game and ♥♥♥♥ EA. I held out longer than most and as such I'm burned harder than the rest. I'm sorry for ever defending this game.
