This game is an absolute amazement. It is as if egosoft decided that the fanbase for all of their old games was not enough and so decided to make a game that was so different from the old X games it should be names something else. Unlike the title suggests, this is not a rebirth of the X series but the withering death of the entire franchise. Unless they managed to save themselves with missleading advertisement and preorder sales. This game is the reason i will never preorder a game again...
