I cannot recommend this game to anyone as long as the dev will not have done something against server hoppers. These guys are just hoping from servers to servers until they find someone who has farmed for hours, and then they just sink the poor guy, steal their loot and that's all. Several hours of run ruined by 20 min of server hopping.
These same guys are the type of guys to spawnkill you in your ship just to humiliate you until you leave. If you give up your ship, you give up your loot, you lose, if you try to respawn you die, you lose, just pointless and annoying.
If you ever want to chill with your friends, this game could be nice... but it's not, not as long as the devs are allowing the kind of behaviour I described above. Play some pure PvE game meanwhile, maybe one day they will cure the community from its cancer.

Was a good game at the beginning but through the different seasons, patches and updates have made some characters much stronger than others, there's a meta in a game in which it shouldn't. A great idea in bad hands, begun as a great games, continue as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ competition game like LoL, CoD or other games. Moreover, the community is made from 9yo kids who insult, rage, report for nothing... Brawlhalla aka League of Legends 2.0.

EDIT : after all the seasons where I get plat ranked, still think it is just a ♥♥♥♥ game. The dodge doesn't work, the characters have unequal winrates, some weapon are overcheat and I don't even talk about the servers... got lag anytime with optic fiber, when I have less than 10ms ping on any other game, just some potato servers behind, and thus anything is just unenjoyable... well, such a good poop. If you wanna brawl, get a Switch and buy Super Smash, but never play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up game. Plus, no anticheat system, cheaters are everywhere, auto scythe combo, auto dodge, auto katars spam, and also on the gauntlets... it's the worst, the auto gauntlet combo... play CSGo, there is less cheater than here.
