just started the game and enjoyed it until I ran up against the timed returns... that is really a lame way for a game like this to be programmed.... wish they would remove all of them unless playing a PVP event where it makes sense.

For anyone interested in playing this game I do not recommend it.

I see there are trolls everwhere... and their comments here are off the subject....I did and do play all sorts of games and have played many years worth of adventure and games like the Sherlock Holmes series,,, and I really started to enjoy these .... but eventually the game was getting really tedious and not any fun .... hench the bad review.

I still think this game is a waste of your time to attempt to play....period.

totally sucks..... do not play... this is designed for 5 year olds... but not to finish.


I give this game like 3 out of 10... it is just a where is waldo game... nothing more..... better to actually play where's waldo

enjoyed the game graphics and the start.... got to the lock puzzle ..... dead in the water. This is a "puzzle" with no clues at all... and no visual indicators as to what is needed... you can only solve this by checking a walkthru.

This is extream lame. Removed the game from system.

This gets a ZERO rating from me. I want a game you can actually play.

My reason for not recommending this game is because you can die here. I do not enjoy any adventure game where you can die, or are timed, I just do not find that fun at all.

If the game offered some detailed warning where I could avoid the death, not just a comment not to be seen, then I could enjoy it more.

I elected to remove this game from further play after I died.

Played for 8 hours then came to a timed puzzle that you die when you fail.

I do not enjoy adventures where you can die... and I do not enjoy timed puzzles... the combination here has me deleting this game from my system... and not recommending it.


Do not waste your time with this game.

I played all the Tex Murphy adventures. I rate The Tesla Effect 6 out of 10.
I do/did not enjoy the timed content in any of these games but the ending for Tesla Effect was just plain bad.
This game used dark areas that you could not find items unless using the flashlight, and that would cost you points.... bad... needed a play choice for using the flashlight in casual mode without losing points.
Some of the "puzzles" were without clear instuctions, or without any instructions.

I appreciate the difficulty to bring this game out, and the delay, and I did enjoy playing it. I hope there will be more.
