Solid game for $15. I read some of the other reviews comparing this to bf2042, it certainly isn't bf2042. The TTK is much, much lower, mechanics feel closer to Tarkov (movement, shooting etc). They did an excellent job with weapons. The sounds are pretty awful and need help before launch. Leveling is painfully slow and needs to be bumped a bit.

I haven't really encountered more than about 1 or 2 obvious cheaters in the 22 hours I've spent playing so far. A handful of bugs, most very minimal and no real detriment to game play. There is an audio bug currently where your gunshot sounds stop working (for you only), this requires a restart of the game. Only a handful of maps but the objective based maps are large... almost a little too large for 20v20.

I'd buy this game again for $15 and I hope they keep making content for it and it comes out of beta at some point.

This game is so confusing. The tutorial is broken... bugged to the point you can't finish if you drop an item needed for the tutorial (because you can't pick it back up...?). Objects don't render at all or incorrectly quite frequently. All of the text/icons are terribly small (playing in 4k).

As far as the story is concerned, I'm not sure what that even is other than you are in a post apocalyptic setting. There are a bunch of fetch quests and you can build rep with people (NPC's) over time. You end up exchanging flowers for bullets and scavenging through junk.

I keep being killed by dogs that aren't rendering so I can't shoot them. PVP is only allowed in certain areas but it isn't clear what those areas actually are. The map grid system is very strange... like most other things here. If you paid for this, I'm sorry. If you are considering paying for this, do not.

If someone took Halo and lowered the TTK and added Portal mechanics and made it free, this would be it.
