Overall, the game is fun, sure its far away from what Assassins Creed is, but at least in this release of their trilogy of RPG versions of the game, it gives you the option to toggle the difficulty to an assassin. That said, despite the stamina bar at some points, the combat is a lot more fun than Odyssey, and probably even Origins too. I'm also reviewing this post Mirage as well. I've not yet started the main base DLC's, but I have nearly finished the free side DLC's, and those were quite fun as well. Especially the Odin one death run DLC, and the river raid DLC. Being from the UK it was awesome to see the lushes views of England. Vinland and Norway were also beautiful as well. Personally I wish they did more with Norway, but as stated I've not played through the base DLC's so maybe they expand Norway more through those.
Overall, I'd give it a 7.5/8 out of 10. There was very few points, despite 100% the base game, there wasn't many points where it felt like it was dragging. The side quests were probably one of the worst aspects of the games, there was quite a few funny and interesting ones, but otherwise they were just... there. Despite being an avid fan of the original 4 games (AC1, 2, Brotherhood and Revelations), I feel like there is room for this game to eventually be regarded as one of the best ones out of the series.

Pending the new update that's coming out Terraria still manages to impress every time you jump back in. I never managed to complete the game when it first came out, but after so many hours of playing and playing with several people on servers, it still gives you the feeling of achievement when you get to the next stage of the game.

Now this is a hell of an indie game.

Obviously as you can see from the description of the game, this isn't going to be your usual smart and fancy dancy Indie game that you would see from the likes of Stanley Parable and of the sort, but for those old timers who used this good ol' messaging service back in the day, it is an awesome draw in to what this game is.

I won't spoil anything about the story in this game, but what I will say, is that although this just seems like a boring message simulator... It's not.

It's story is actually quite good, after chapter two I was drawn into what these two characters lives were.(I might add that although I am British I do understand the way the American education system works and etc. so it was okay to follow what kind of age these two characters were at).

The Gameplay:
Gameplay wise this game relies on simple mouse clicking and practically pressing 1,2 or 3 for dialogue options and to type the messages you are sending.
The way the two characters interact is also determined by what you say in previous chapters, which felt great when playing through the game.

There is SOME level of replayability but I doubt this will expand your play time to over 1hrs maybe even 2.
And although there is very minor dialogue options, something which needs to be expanded upon if there is any future updates, there choices you make are quite impactful. I opted to be quite a nice person on my first playthrough, and on my second just being a complete ass, so it was good to feel like I was actually interacting with the other character Emily.
Now of course these impacts on the game aren't quite as massive like the ones you see in titles like TellTales Walking Dead and Until Dawm, but you do really feel you are impacting the life of this other character
There are a total of 6 chapters spanning 5 years of these two characters lives, which can all be replayed to vary the impacts you make.

The Story:
Without spoiling the game, the basis of the story starts at as you, coming towards the end of high school, and you go onto your compter to chat with one of your high school friends. Depending on your choices you follow through part of Emily's High School and College life, either helping her or basically not giving a ♥♥♥♥ about her. Chapter after Chapter reveal more of how these two people are getting along, with Chapter 6 being the finale, and ultimately deciding the friendship between you and Emily.

Overall Opinion:
Of course, this game is defenitely worth a try. Its a completely free download. Takes up no space on your computer at all, Its story got me hooked. I personally can connect to some of the story that my first playthrough went through, and I really got hit by it. Honestly a lot of Indie games nowadays are very complicated in terms of their story or they lack one completely, so it was nice to have a nice simple and relatable story for once.
In my opinion after a couple playthroughs, I'd give this game a solid 8.5/10

I seemed to notice there is additional items that you can purchase, and I felt that it seems cosmetic, and for their price its just pointless for them to be there. They should just include them in a £1 version in this game. Of course developing games costs money and developers have gotta make their money somehow, but adding cosmetics into a free to play game like this with microtransactions feels ridiculious.

I also wish there was more diverse chatting options, I wish I could just be a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and just end the game around Chapter 1 xD And although I got involved with the story I felt like the ending was just... dull. I need to know what happens, and even though it's such a short game, I don't feel like I want to play through another 2-3 times to see how much changes.

If they adressed these issues I definately would say that this game is a solid 9.5/10 and deserves some sort of price tag.

Please, if you haven't tried this beauty already, give it a go!

When I first saw this game on the Free to Play section, I thought "Oh look, another crappy F2P, Tower Defense game that has aliens in it". I then decided, I may as well download the game to at least give it a try, I mean it's free to play right?
I was pleasantly surprised by what I had played. The gameplay is smooth, the enemies are actually quick challenging before Level 10 unlike most Tower Defense games, and the concept of the game is very amusing, especially the odd one liners the character says during the game.
The only real complaints I have are the graphics, the rendering of the game and the powerups. Some of the armored aliens sometimes left the armor hovering after they die, the main menu graphics are quite poor. In terms of the powerups, there could be a lot more powerups, and you should be able to access the store mid game instead of waiting for the game over.
However this is a quality game, with good humour and gameplay, and is good for when you want to play a less stressfull game.
I would give this a 7.5/10, possibly and 8 if it recieves updates in the future. I seriously reccomend this game for any Indie gamers!

Extremely good game. Hours upon hours of exploration and plenty to do! Can easily fill long hours during lazy days.
Only negative is that the graphics can be sometimes distracting. Yes it's quite a old game, but having to install several mods to make the character models look semi realistic, along with fixing terrain generating. Installing mods takes hours to do and to play the game for around 3/4 hours to day isn't worth hours of installing mods. It's possible to play without but it would be a good idea, if you don't have a buffed out computer, to try installing a few fps mods to improve game.
Other than that, a fantastic game, lots and lots of interesting lore, and tons of interesting characters.
