Incredible game and my Steam Awards GOTY but very short main story for the price tag. If you like PlatinumGames-esque gameplay this should interest you but I recommend getting it on sale. If you like endgame grinding after the main story this game has plenty of it.

This game is good at launch (save for the atrocious server and matchmaking problems) and has a LOT of potential to be great. If you're considering buying this game and have the money to spare then absolutely at least give it a try. There is a lot of valid criticism around the game that other reviews detail much better than I can, but if you look past all of it and experience the game for yourself you may just find a new addiction like I have.
If the subpar launch repelled you from getting the game I suggest giving it some time and checking it out again in the future. Starbreeze has proven in the past that they can correct their mistakes and I have no doubt they will maintain that integrity...if they don't, the company will go under from bankruptcy at this point.

This game is much like another one I've played called "Terraria," however, this game really takes leaps and bounds over it by introducing balancing issues and art style discrepancies. It also lets you see bigger damage numbers than Terraria, and for that reason, it gets my approval.

I originally wrote a super long winded review for this game, which I now realize was a bad idea for a simple review on Steam. But that goes to show how much I like talking about it.
Long story short, like any From game, it has some flaws but those are outweighed by just how good it is. Just play it. Also don't forget to level vigor.

This game is good but I hate having to block. Stop trying to hit me just let me command grab you smh

spent 7 minutes stealth looting the room behind the thermite doors, went in, tried to pick a lock and got caught immediately

good enough to make me want to replay it until it became fun and I started speedrunning it so there's that i guess
