I've been waiting for this to release for so long and when it dropped for free, it was pure excitement. The base kit AR and pistol feel weak and many guns need re-balance overall, but it's a Halo game and it's just fun! Infinitely more fun with friends!

I may not have many hours in this game but I feel in love immediately. I'm in no way a master player but I feel I have improved so much from where I was when I first got the game. There is a solid set of base songs and modes but if you want more songs there is an unofficial, but permitted mod manager that allows you to download thousands of user made tracks, avatars, cameras, sabers, etc. If you can't find the song you want, I want to take the opportunity to shout out Beat Sage because it allows you to drop a song link, or upload your own MP3's and will design a map by your specifications using AI in a minute or 2, and it's very good!!

As of now, Reach is the only release in the collection and when I say this game has brought me back to a time I didn't think I'd experience again... it has done that, AND MORE. The graphical improvements along with higher framerates make this a staple of PC gaming and the enjoyment I've already had playing the COOP campaign have exceeded my expectations by a mile.

Nominate this game for "Most Fun With A Machine!" I've been playing since this game was in early pre-alpha and there was really nothing to it. It has come so far and I continue to have an absolute blast with it. The amount of mods that change any thing from adding vehicles and maps, down to tire mark textures, are immense and exciting. If you haven't played this yet, I highly suggest picking it up as it just had it's major 0.14 update that added a ton of stuff.

EDIT 2022: IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER WITH THE 0.26 PATCH!!

I am incredibly impressed with where this game is at. I had pre-ordered it last Spring but refunded it during the summer sale with the intention of re-preordering. Near it's release I decided just to wait and boy was I happy I did. I went on ignoring this game until I noticed it heavily discounted with the release of the Atlus update. I decided to give it a shot due to my adoration of space and exploration and all of the positive reviews I saw it was getting. I reiterate my previous statement, I am incredibly impressed and blown away with how much fun this game is. It's obviously not for everyone but it has gone above and beyond my expectations and I highly recommend to anybody into exploration and needs some relaxing activity.

EDIT: Still a great game that continues to be improved time and time again! NEXT knocked it out of the park with all of the new additions

This is one of the very few apps that allow animated backgrounds, but it takes it 3 steps further. It has multiple types of wallpapers and even a built-in creator that I have made some things in. I highly recommend this to ANY user and the workshop has 10's of thousands of creations so there is bound to be something you will find to your liking.

I have spent more hours in this game than any others. why, you might ask? One word, mods. The mods that are available for this game are insane. They allow you to basically change every aspect of the game and make an all new experience every time you play. I could go on about it but I will just say that if you were skeptical about getting this game, don't be and just go for it.
