For real though, this is one of the best fighting games I've had the pleasure of playing.

Very balanced, GGPO frame delay for online play, polished combo system, multiple play styles(solo character, duo, or team of three. You also don't have to match your opponent. IE: 1v3, 2v3, etc.)

The game's roster only boasts a modest 9 characters now, but considering the pricetag, and the fact each new character comes out as free DLC, there really is no reason to complain.

If you want to play a real fighting game made by fighting game players, pick this game up!

$15 is very reasonable considering some of the garbage you pay 4 times as much for.

Awesome game.

Takes a little getting used to, but once you do, it easily draws you in. Think something like Soul Calibur meets Counter-Strike.

1v1 Duel Mode is the only mode I really play(the rest is a little too chaotic for my tastes), but honestly it was still worth every penny to me.

Do it!

Fast paced, ultra violent, great music, trippy visuals, unlimited lives, and plenty of weapons.

The Good:
Stealth is very much like Metal Gear Solid. If you're caught it's not game over, you get to be creative as you want with how you deal with the situation.
Dialogue is cool and the story is very engaging
Gameplay is top notch with the ways you can go about situations; however, I recommend a stealthy playthrough as it provides a bigger challenge and is a much more satisfying experience.
The Bad:
Boss fights suck. This game isn't really meant for that type of gameplay model, but they generally aren't all that long.
There are 4 endings. The choices you make throughout the game do not really infuence what ending you see, but instead what you ultimately decide to do.This type of game is very hard to end(since it is a prequel), but this unfortunately led to very extreme and/or illogical endings for the story.

Overall, I definitely give this game high praise. You definitely have to give this game at least one run through!

I was late on playing this one, but I have to say this is hands down one of the greatest shooters I've had the pleasure of playing!
The atmosphere is dark and eerie
The weapons are cool
The Plasmids are unique and all interesting to use
The dialogue is amazing
The story is more than well developed
Combat is challenging
Just everything about this game adds up to why it was one of the hottest games of its time, and hell even today!
This is seriously one of the best single-player experiences you're going to find on the market.
