Excellent in almost every way. Soundtrack is utterly phenomenal, combat amazing, builds are great, the story is compelling. The graphics were 'different' at first, but they will grow on you. The menus and UI are the best I've ever seen in a game, period.

Metaphor is the most fun I've had in a JRPG since FFX, and I cannot overstate how big of a compliment that is as someone who's cherished that game and the FF series for almost 30 years. Absolute glowing recommendation from me!

Heat is op, rage is op, power crush is op, most fighters are op. It's as if every character in the game has discovered how to go super saiyan (RIP Toriyama), and on top of that, they've been injecting unethical amounts of juice directly into their eyeballs multiple times per day. Jun acquired heavenly powers, Dragunov became one punch man, and Feng's pecs are so big they look like they could explode at any second.

BUT ITS FUN AF. I can't seem put it down.
Highly recommend.

Now THIS is how you remake a game. Very faithful to the original while having juuust the right amount of tweaks and new touches to keep you on your toes. Certainly scarier and more tense than the original at times, and that's a good thing.

This is the most fun I've had playing a Resident Evil game since the original Resident Evil 4!
If you liked the original then this is a must play, and if you never played it then now is the best time to experience this masterpiece of a game, 10/10!
