I've been playing Empires off and on since it came out and there's genuinely not another experience like it. This game has an active community that plays on Saturdays and Sundays from about 11AM PST till 5PM PST and those short hours is one of the best gameplay experiences you can have.

You will die a lot. You will suffer. You will meet people you will never forget and watch them turn into gib. You will love it.

This game will punish you, but the results are worth it. Don't let the beautiful, yet, innocent art style fool you, hidden beneith is nothing but punishment and lessons to be learned.
