[Warning] Ignore any negative comments about balancing patches and nerfs. These had nothing to do with the DLC and were added to the base game prior to launch. Even if you don't buy this, the balance patch is there to stay.

Moving on to the actual dlc itself. It's a 7/10, much better then the first dlc by a mile but still not really mind blowing. Which my review on "The awakened king" is completely fine since it's a 10 dollar add-on.

So what does this DLC do? You get a new biome in Yaesha, although unlike the awakened King dlc it actually feels like an entirely new map. The world isn't root infested, all new enemies and variants exist and the level design is really good. It's a large map but everything is placed together in an easy to navigate way with lots of hidden little secrets.

The DLC gives you a "one shot adventure mode" which let's you play the new dlc by itself so you can experience the new bosses, enemies and storyline without having to re-roll a dozen times. However the way Remant 2 works you won't be able to get everything right away and you're going to have to eventually re-roll anyway. So once you finish the one shot adventure the new map gets added in with the Yaesha map.

The loot you get is pretty decent. The new archtype is pretty interesting and the new rings and amulets are useful especially with the recent rebalancing patch. New weapons and mod powers are fun, and I still have yet to unlock everything.

What impressed me the most with this DLC honestly was the story and the pacing of it. I think they did a good job with the world development and I was interested in seeing where things went and what choices I'd have to make. Won't spoil anything but it's probably my favorite Yaesha storyline in the game.

So in conclusion is it worth the 10 dollar price tag? Absolutely yes. However it's not an amazing, revolutionary game changing dlc. This is still Remnant 2 and aside from the new toys, it's buisness as usual.
