THE Strategy game of all time. Goes great with OpenXcom. Dont let my playtime fool you.

I have to say I tried to play. I tried to do the upgrades, farm the metal, trade, etc. But after I left my starting planet, every single planet was a barren rock with NOTHING of value on them besides outcroppings of metals. No nice new creates or interesting plants, NOTHING. I tried my best to give the game a chance and for the devs to at least own up to not releasing a completed product. If they even stated that they messed up and they were working on adding all that they promised soon, I would have waited and allowed them to fix their issues. But every patch seemed to make the game play worse for me, and it got to the point where I could not even get myself to launch it. Sad to see the game die a broken, empty shell.

Paid mods. cant recommend anymore.

This game is simply not worth the price anymore. It was great fun at the start, when devs were engaging and actually updated the game and fixed bugs, but to release a completely new game that has things that this game was supposed to have from the start is horrible horrible practice, something that EA would do but i never could even imagine Uber would do. Needless to say Uber will never be getting any money from me ever again. All my fears about early access are now back and I can see that they were truly real and i should have never bought this game.

I had fears with early access, but this game is only getting better with every update. Galactic War may not give too much of a story explanation, but it makes for an amazing experience by itself, and you can make up your own reason as to why you need to crash this moon into the enemy commander (the idiot was building a second base there and he was rabid fan of Games For Windows Live. He deserved to die the death he did.)

Wish i could get my money back. Even though I payed $5 on steam for it, the game is VERY poorly optimized in terms of graphics and is nigh-unplayable without a controller. I wont even mention the GFWL requirement. I guess this will be the one game i will never touch again due to the fact that I am not shelling out $30 for a controller.
