When i can get it to launch its fine. Space marine 1 but more. But the crashes at the moment are ridiculous. I crash on startup, on initial logo vids 9/10 times when i try to open the game. Most often on the Focus Entertainment logo, funny enough. I managed to get a mission and an operation done yesterday (sept 9th) with no crashes once i managed to load the game (still crashes several times on initial vids), but since then its been crashes when i try to play. Either crash to desktop during boot, or crash during first combat encounter. Tried everything i could think off, still have the problems.

A friend of mine wouldn't stop talking about this game, so i decided to buy it. Man, am I glad i did. I am not sure when was the last time i was this sucked into the story of a game. Just reached chapter 4, and cant wait to find out more!

The fact that this game has such a massive and configurable difficulty (though i am currently playing on default normal) should make this game massively accessible to all, even if you dont know much about the game. The different classes provide massive opportunity for future replays and I can't wait to see if there's different results for actions in another playthrough. Definitely worth a buy!

Well, am I ever glad to eat my own words. The Devs actually went out, redone their whole balancing plan, and made the game even better than it was at launch. They took their time, and delivered on every promise they made with their 60(63) day commitment to adjusting the balance of everything in the game.

The game is definitely heading in the right direction and is worth playing now. You will have fun, even more so if you can get a group of your friends to dive with you!

Well, so much for being great devs. This latest patch was touted as one to contain many fixes and performance improvements along with new content. Well, it dropped, and only half of that statement turned out to be true. New content is nice, but the performance improvements never materialised and it is now worse than before.

When the game first lauched, I didnt have any issues with it. it ran mostly smoothly, occassional hiccup could easily be ignored. With every patch though i've noticed performance degrade more and more, and this last one absolutely murdered it. Every bug/glitch/issue that people reported earlier on discord/reddit/forums now seems to happen for me with regularity, like there's a timer in the background that triggers them when x amount of time was played.

The weapon balance is also significantly worse since this patch. They've removed the only option that could reliably deal with one of the most common (which are not even supposed to be that common) heavy enemies which shoe-horns you into only very few viable equipment loadouts. This is coming from devs that specifically state they do not want there to be a meta to the game. It seems that they decided the best way to enforce that is to make sure there are NO options to deal with problems being thrown at you instead of having too many choices to pick from. Which is a very strange philosophy for a game that is solely PvE focued.

TL;DR: Team seems to look at a spreadsheet of weapons being used and taking the top ones and nerfing them to the point they are no longer viable. Problem is, those weapons were popular because they were the only option to reliably deal with enemies people encountered. So now you no longer have ways to reliably play.

Do Not Buy. Maybe in 3-4 years, when you can get the whole thing for like 99 cents (or your country's equivalent).




The PSN requirement has been rolled back, so all thats left is an amazing game that's a blast to play. Whether that be with randoms or your friends, its a ton of fun no matter what. Great devs.



The game itself is a gem, and produces amazing gameplay every mission. I've enjoyed nearly every match I have played in my 210 hours of gameplay. But selling your game to countries that will not be able to play it is a scam and something I will not support. When the game launched, they did say that a psn account would be required but was OPTIONAL and SKIPPABLE, which just did not allow you cross-play if you did not have one. Not a problem for most people.

But now it will be required, despite the fact that PSN is not available in over 170 countries for whatever reason, and it was sold to people in those countries when it was not required. So people that bought the game and played it, now will not longer be able to play a product that was sold to them. They even de-listed the game from being sold in the affected countries to hide their traces (but the internet remembers)!

TL;DR Great Game, Good Developer, absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ publisher that did a bait-and-switch on the playerbase. Will not support this myself personally.

An Absolute blast with a group of friends!

I want to say this gave had a bit of a hard start in the pc space, broke quite a few ships while fixing all the problems. But the final product is a wonderful game that brings new and innovative gameplay to the forefront, and is a blast to take an evening, relax, and take apart some junked ships.

Honestly, this game is a perfect example of how game development should be done. It is still being updated frequently and new content is fun and engaging.

Honestly, this game is not for everyone. No exciting car chases, no robbers, nothing to shoot at. Just you, your customized truck, and an incredible amount of cargo to choose from. And i would not have it any other way. great game when you just want to chill out, relax, and catch up on your favorite show or podcast.

The game was good, I enjoyed the single-player once i got into it. But once they sneakily updated denuvo kernel driver, i cannot recommend this. I refuse to allow that on my pc. Requested a refund.

This is not a PC game. This feels like a cheap direct console port than a proper PC game. Only able to crouch when perfectly still? No subtitles for in-game dialogue? what about those of us with hearing imparements or those to whom english is a second language? I haven't tried multiplayer, but single-player so far is SUB-PAR. weapons feel like nerf-guns, dialogue is very hard to understand due to lack of subtitles and heavy accents on what feels like cart-board cutout of characters. Seems like this game could have used at least another 3-4 month of polish AT LEAST.

Horrible port. Keyboard and mouse are nigh-unusable. and the camera lock during boss fights is beyond annoying to try to deal with.
