Early Access Review
This game has massive potential.
The world is immersive, the graphics are stunning, and the gameplay depth allows for a level of storytelling and character development I've never experienced in other life sims.

You can follow your characters from childhood all the way through their lives, building skills, relationships, careers, and unique stories. I've recreated entire backstories, played with karma systems, explored the social mechanics, and even watched how small decisions shaped long-term outcomes.

✅ What stands out:
Third-person character control – feels like an open-world RPG

Great atmosphere and lighting – ultra-immersive

Character editor is already super detailed

Early systems like karma, aging, and skills are well-thought-out

Realistic little things like slightly crooked parked cars, random events at the door, etc.

⚠️ Keep in mind:
This is Early Access. That means:

Yes, there are bugs.

Yes, some features are still missing.

No, it's not finished.

But that’s exactly what Early Access is for. The devs are clearly listening to the community, patching bugs (like sudden early deaths), and improving things step by step.

💬 Final thoughts:
If you're looking for a polished and complete game, wait a bit.
But if you're excited to be part of something that grows and evolves – and want to shape stories in a living world – inZOI is absolutely worth it.

I'm already deep into my characters' lives, and I can't wait to see how this world expands.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – A True Medieval Masterpiece

This game is one of the most immersive and historically accurate RPGs I have ever played. Unlike most medieval games that simplify or modernize aspects of the time period, KCD2 stays true to realistic combat, progression, and world interaction. It doesn’t rely on typical RPG mechanics like “farm materials to craft better weapons” or “level up by grinding enemies.” Instead, every skill improvement feels natural, earned through practice, training, and exploration.

Combat – No Hack & Slash, Only Skill

The combat system is challenging but fair. If you expect to spam attacks and overpower enemies, you will struggle. It’s not a hack & slash game – timing, positioning, and counterattacks matter. Mastering the perfect riposte and using tactics like spacing, movement, and enemy awareness makes battles much more engaging. Early on, I struggled with multiple enemies, but after learning the mechanics, I was able to defeat groups of five foes by using patience and strategy rather than brute force. Every fight is a duel, every encounter is meaningful.

Alchemy, Crafting, and No Hand-Holding

The alchemy system is one of the best I’ve seen in an RPG. You don’t just click “brew potion” – you actually prepare ingredients, boil them, and follow recipes step by step. This level of depth extends to crafting as well. Forging weapons requires skill, and I found myself repairing and selling equipment to make a profit, adding another layer of realism.

There’s no artificial grinding, no forced fetch quests. Want to improve Speech? Buy books and read them. Want better gear? Find, repair, or forge it yourself. Every aspect of progression is organic and rewarding.

World & Atmosphere – A Living, Breathing Medieval Society

KCD2’s world feels alive. NPCs have schedules, react to your actions, and remember how you treat them. The historical setting is deeply immersive, with detailed environments, authentic architecture, and a believable social structure. The sound design is excellent, making forests, cities, and battlefields feel alive.

The game also avoids modern political correctness, staying true to medieval realism. This means no unrealistic warrior women in full plate armor, no forced diversity, just an accurate historical setting. If you appreciate historical authenticity, you’ll love what this game offers.

Performance & Graphics

The game runs surprisingly well even with its detailed world. No massive FPS drops in cities, even with lots of NPCs around, which is rare in open-world games. The only real downside is that the rain effect looks outdated, but that’s a small issue in an otherwise beautifully designed game.

Final Verdict

KCD2 is not an easy game. It doesn’t hold your hand. It doesn’t give instant gratification. But if you invest time into it, you’ll get one of the most rewarding and immersive medieval experiences ever made.

💯 A must-play for any medieval and RPG fan. 💯

Review of InZOI's Character Editor

Having spent some time with the character editor in *InZOI*, I have mixed feelings about its current state, particularly regarding performance and customization options.

Performance Concerns
First and foremost, the performance of the editor is currently a significant concern. Even on high-end hardware, the editor struggles with frame rate issues and stuttering when settings are maxed out. This is particularly noticeable when using Ultra settings, which can cause severe lag and make the experience less enjoyable. I am hopeful that these performance issues will be addressed in future updates, as they significantly impact the overall user experience.

Impressive Customization Features
Despite the performance issues, the character editor offers some impressive features. One standout aspect is the ability to create patterns and textures using AI. This feature allows for a high degree of personalization and creativity, enabling users to generate unique designs or even upload their own. However, a notable limitation here is the inability to place specific symbols or logos on clothing items without covering the entire garment. It would be beneficial to have an option to apply symbols or logos as separate elements that can be positioned freely.

Focus on Facial Customization
The editor's main focus is on facial customization, which is incredibly detailed and flexible. Players can modify nearly every aspect of a character’s face, from the shape and size of features to finer details like muscle definition and fat distribution. This level of customization is impressive and allows for a great deal of personal expression.

Limited Hair Options and Other Features
However, there are some areas where the editor could be improved. The selection of hairstyles is somewhat limited, with most options only extending to shoulder length or slightly below. It would be great to see more variety, particularly for longer hairstyles. The skin tone selection process also feels a bit unintuitive and could benefit from a more refined interface.

Additionally, while makeup customization is well-done, there are some surprising omissions. For example, while it’s possible to customize fingernails, there is no option for toenails, and tattoos are completely absent from the editor.

Body Customization
While the face has a wide range of customization options, the rest of the body is somewhat limited. I would love to see more control over body proportions, such as height, hand size, and foot size, to allow for more diverse and realistic character designs.

Conclusion
Overall, the *InZOI* character editor shows a lot of promise and offers some fantastic customization tools, especially for facial features. However, to truly shine, it needs a few more features and optimizations, particularly in terms of performance and the range of available options. With these improvements, the editor could be a standout feature of the game, offering players the depth and creativity they are looking for.
