William 'Will' Smith: Got through my first date without him. I learned how to drive, I learned how to shave, how to fight. I had 14 great birthdays without him. He never even sent me a damn card. To hell with him! I didn't need him then and I don't need him now. You know what? I'm gonna get through college without him. I'll get a great job without him. I'll marry a beautiful honey, have a bunch of kids and be a better father than he ever was. I don't need him for that, because there ain't a damn thing he could ever teach me about how to love my kids.

Thanks to everyone who puts up with me. I try and be the person I want to be, but I'm haunted by a self doubt that stems from being ridiculed and emotionally abused.

It's not about pushing through the present, it's about enjoying what you have, never give up, never look down, never let anyone tell you what you can and can't be or do. because weakness is created by fear and fear is a manifestation of yourself telling you to live, trust me, I know from experience.
