I really enjoyed playing this gem of an indie game. It stirred many emotion in me with it's gameplay, story, and visuals. First I want to talk about the gameplay. It is not an easy game in any of the difficulties because I tried to play on every one of them but also can be that I'm not very familiar with this genre of games maybe its the nature of these game to be difficult. Nevertheless, when you beat the enemies, elites, and bosses that you keep getting your ass beaten is very exalting range of emotions. Moreover, as I want to touch on the story which I was not expecting this complexity of arc of the characters that connects to the ending which is must see in my opinion. And lastly the visuals is very basic pixel graphic but the artist and designers able give life to the environments and every time it changes location it doesn't feel same as the previous locations. This is also takes players out of the monotonous visuals that we see in games. I personally want to thank to the artist that give life to gorgeous visuals and art style in the game. Lastly, I forgot to mention the soundtrack which is fitting to the cyberpunk theme of the game that is mix with 80's disco music. Even though, I'm not fan of this genre of music, this soundtrack caught my attention and I will listen the game's ost for a long time. I want to close my review with recommending this game to everyone to give it a try and find what gems this game is hiding.

This game deserves the GOTY. My first playthrough took me over 130 hours, there are still many unexplored locations and quests that I have yet to discover. I can't believe I haven't finished any other CRPGs in the past due to the immense time and effort they demanded. However, this game proves that with a compelling story, excellent presentation, and solid game mechanics, you can create an amazing gaming experience that captivates a wide audience.

Moreover, the game developers demonstrated a remarkable commitment to crafting this game and actively listened to their fan base during EA, resulting in significant improvements. I am so excited to begin my second playthrough with a different class, ready to experience the game all over again.

It's similar to Civilization in genre which is 4x games, however, mechanics are totally different. History always intrigued me and this games has cultures from Neolithic Era to Present(Contemporary) Era. Every culture has their own benefits and their unique buildings and military units. I really recommend everyone to give it a shot.

Hi Everyone,

Zombi game is one of the games that I've been wanted to play for so long because the plot of game was so intriguing to me at the time. Additionally, I didn't have Wii U when it first came out therefore I didn't have the chance to play it. After I play the game I found it is decent zombie experience game, maybe at the time I was really into the zombie genre that is the reason why I like it but in today's point of view I found it mediocre. Moreover, my opinion on pros and cons of Zombi:

*Pros
- Immersing Story and Narration.
- Representation of the post apocalyptic environment
- Balance between Horror and Action.
- Adequate amount of Puzzles and Exploration

*Cons
- Games has many bugs/glitches
- Game crashes at the opening sequence(*Solved by putting ubisoft connect in offline mode*)
- After long game sessions it softlock or crashes itself. You can't event open task manager.(*Solved by pressing CTRL+ESC then Force quitting Steam from hidden icons at right bottom corner*)
- Basically, Pc port of the game is broken. But it is nothing do with the fundamentals of the game. It is the problem of the Ubisoft not optimizing the game enough for the PC.

In conclusion, I find Zombi very hard for the player who is just want to try this game for the first time, because even the crash at the opening sequence made my almost refund the game. I was trying every fix but it was not working however, I found as solution in Steam's discussion. Lastly, nostalgia of the game kept me in the game and made me overlook the frustrating parts of the game.

Note: For the people who want to play this game for the first time, ready for inconveniences you will come across throughout the game. If you want to try a Zombie experience that takes place in London, you can give it a try.

Sincerely,

NewmanB
