Early Access Review
Fulfilled my dream, exceeds my expectation sooo much. With developers still updating the game like crazy, I would give it a 20 out of 10.

Cons:

- You will most likely need a deep pocket if you want somewhat full experience. Not as deep as MSFS or DCS requires, but each BoX costs $50 ($80 for extra 2 collector planes), and there are currently 5 of them. Plus some extra money for scripted campaigns.

- There is little-to-none tutorial. First you will need some time to set up your controls, although I think it's at least a bit easier than DCS. Then each plane has a "specification" telling you the specs of the aircraft and some points to notice when piloting, but if you are not that familiar with the plane you will probably need a lot more than that to get the plane flying stably. Fortunately, there's a lot of online resources, you just have to do the digging.

- Career mode can be boring. There are only so many types of missions, and if you are "lucky" to not run into any enemy when doing an escort mission, then the whole 1 hour is just circling above the bombers. If you enable external cameras you can check if there's enemy coming to intercept you, and if there isn't you can put the plane on autopilot and do something else in the meantime.

- Ace AI is competitive, but they still act dumb sometimes, and there's still large room for improvement. Devs are constanly working on it though, and currently it's good enough to not affect the experience too much.

- No Pacific Theatre. Devs are working on Battle of Normandy right now, so PTO needs to wait at least 2 years, if there's going to be any.

Pros:
If you are looking for a WW2 air combat simulator that spans across 1941-1945 over Europe, this is the best you can get.

Outstanding story (so far) and fabulous music, and the whole story is also surprisingly long. True, this might be far from the original Assassin's Creed (actually I haven't seen the word Assassin yet), but this is one of the best games I've enjoyed.

The game provides great milsim experience even if you just play the campaign alone. Finding a group of friends to play with, however, takes the experience to a whole new level.

Arma is not necessarily a 'walking simulator' or 'hardcore af' like it is often described to be. It is a military-themed sandbox, and if you spend a little time with zeus and all those mods created by the community, you can make the play style whatever you like and use your imagination to create scenarios for you and your friends to enjoy.
