I like this game. Do I recommend it? No.
If this was truly given Bethesda's grand "passion project" treatment, that is deeply saddening, bleak even. The story in its entirety is super bland, the characters are very one dimensional, the entirety of the writing is so boring it makes me feel hopeless for the future of other Bethesda franchises. My favorite character is Sam Coe, and his story was the only one I felt anything for, and honestly it's not even that great.
Aside from that, it's been a fun game, not worth 70$ though. I really hope there are some major changes to come. The only thing I come back for is the outpost and ship building. I've not finished the game because I can't even be bothered with how dull the combat is.
