TLDR: short game, expect crashes, very linear, no replayability, Enemies felt easy and some can be skip entirely, few steam achievements is either glitched or currently unavailable.

I truly want to love this game and I see it has great potential, from the gameplay, the art style, and music, but I cannot recommend it, for now.

I want to first express that do not let the hours I put in this game fool you, I was away on several occasions, other then that, the game is at least 4-6hours long, give or take if you backtrack.

Speaking of backtrack, the game is very linear in comparison to other metroidvanias. In most games, you may have to obtain an ability later down the road and revisit old stages to obtain newer stuff, but this game doesn't give too many reasons to do so.

Yes there is a few here and there, but most maps can be clear in one swoop, giving almost no reason to go back.

The game felt a bit easy and gives no reason for replayability. A lot of the enemies AI just felt very similar from one to the next, to which in some cases, they can either be cheesed off or skip entirely, especially after you get double jump.
This is one of my biggest grips because there's more then a few stages where fighting enemies is kinda meaningless.
If I may suggest, I feel part of this could be fix by having enemies drop items needed to buff Europa at the workshop, and/or change/add more difficult AI.

The game had crashed on me on several occasions, but I don't think it's that big of an ordeal, especially since the first version is going to be buggy, and the crashes I had was after I died.

Lastly a few steam achievements seems unavailable, or may be possibly glitched.

I pray that the spiritual successor of this game is just as amazing and beautiful as Crosscode. After I started playing, I had a hard time putting the controller down as this game kept me entice by how great this game is. Highly recommend.

Out of all the Hidden object series by this developer, this one is honestly the worst of them. Granted that a few of the games is a hit or miss on finding some of the objects, it was still doable by some means, but this one will literally have you wildly clicking and question, " That's a cup?"
