There's a caveat about my review. I don't recommend picking up this game AT THIS TIME.

That being said there is a lot of potential in this game to be the next TF2 geared towards an older crowd that grew up on CoD and other FPS games.

The classes themselves are balanced pretty fairly. If I don't have a counter to thier team, then it's my teams fault. Each class has other classes that counter them and the perks of each class are not so specific to an individual class that you HAVE to have one of your three slots taken up by a permanent character. If you like to heal there are different ways you can do so. If you're a sniper there is multiple ways to do that. Up close? Same thing.

But there are two major issues to the game currently.

A) Map list. There are currently so few maps to rotate through that you get 'burnt out' on the list. I know this comes with time, but for this to be a game I would recommend to invest a lot of time into, I would like to see at minimum 10 maps to rotate through. Especially due to the short nature of the game time. If you're playing for 30-45 minutes not having a lot of maps might not be a big issue, but when playing 10-15 minute maps a side, it's really easy to get burnt out on the same thing over and over.

B) AUTO BALANCING

Seriously... the game is based around balance and yet if you get into a game you might have a difference of 10-20 levels. This is huge for multiple reasons. First, the higher level players generally have more experience which means they understand strategy, are more familiar with their characters and generally are going to be better players overall. Secondly they are going to have had more opportunity to get cards which give small perks that can be the difference between 1-2 extra kills/death ratio. Considering that there is a respawn timer, Getting an extra kill per death means that the other team is faced with an uphill battle to not fall to attrition.

Final thoughts:

I really really like the concept of the game and the graphics are awesome. It has been FUN to play, but as far as investing long term into this game? I can't recommend it if this isn't changed. It's too much of a deal breaker. If you find yourself on a team of all sub-10s vs. a team with 3 level 20+'s, your best bet is to leave and find a different game. You really have no chance.
