Trigger Warning: Clowns, lots and lots of clowns. If you are afraid of clowns, you may never be able to sleep again. If you aren't afraid of clowns, you will be after this.

I'll admit, my expectations might have been a bit too high when I was waiting three and a half years for this game. However, Miyazaki has surpassed my expectations somehow and gave me the culmination of everything all of the past souls titles have been working for. Elden Ring makes the Souls Series, Sekiro, Bloodborne, and of course, Demon's Souls, feel like projects that were testing the water so that Elden Ring could be perfect.

I also have to admit that, as of March 11th, 2022, there are still some frame stuttering issues occasionally, and the pvp doesn't really have any incentive, but this is the best pve that From Software has put out in my opinion. I hope soon that the pvp will be fleshes out and move closer to how it functions in DS3, but we shall see. Solid 9/10 game with the frame lag. If that is fixed, this game gets an easy 10. IF they fix the pvp, I will never see another human again.

Overall, I could not be more satisfied gameplay wise, and I think the relatively long wait was worth it. I highly recommend this game to new and old soulsborne fans alike. Now, I must return to playing Elden Ring.

I really enjoy this fighting game, its fast, easy to pick up and has interesting mechanics. I don't even like the dragonball manga or anime series, but I enjoy this game.

I can't recommend this game to soulsborne fans for several reasons. Although I did try my best to enjoy the game, somethings were just off or downright bad. For starters, the game feels empty, sure, there are items and enemies scattered around randomly, but it isn't thought out and it all feels the same. The environments are interesting and I'd love to explore them, but the enemies (instead of being engaging encounters) drag down the fun of the game.

The combat is bland at best, there are three types of weapons; the spear, the two handed weapon, and the one handed weapon. All of these weapon slots have "different" weapon choices, but their move sets are the same, the only difference between weapons are the stats. The enemy placement only hurts the combat as well, many enemy encounters involved a ranged enemy with two or three melee enemies behind a wall where you can't see them. Movement feels slow and weapons feel strange, as if their weight shifts with each attack. The stamina bar feels more like a hindrance than a combat mechanic. The combat system feels like an afterthought, but the enemies are behind every rock.

The NPCs are fairly bland as well, though I'm not expecting astounding NPCs, I don't even remember their names because they were so forgettable. The quest and map system felt odd and out of place with the game style.

This game is as if Dark Souls had all of its core components hastily strapped together with scotch tape and a few fell out of the bundle. I wish this game was good. Long story short, this game would be playable if it was exploration focused, if the combat elements were erased, and the system of play was not a souls like style. This game utterly fails to deliver a souls like experience.

This game is what I would imagine the feeling of agony personified in game form is like. There is no explanation of anything that you're supposed to do. I would rather dip my feet into a kiddie pool filled with piranhas than try to figure out how to play this garbage. Who in their right mind would actually recommend this game to someone else? There are several forms of torture I would rather undertake than play this game. Who made this? Why'd they do it? Do they hate humanity? Is this a joke? You can't even play the game because of several factors.
1. There is little to no ammo/guns to speak of and the enemies required ridiculous amounts of shots to kill.
2. There is no clear direction or places you are meant to go, and, while the "levels" are very constrained, it is not clear which doorways you must go through because they all look the SAME
3. There are places where you have to do certain movements but it doesn't function
Even though this game was free, I feel cheated and I deserve an apology from someone. Who thought that this game was finished? This game feels like it is in pre-pre-pre-alpha. The real horror of this game is how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is.
