Another great FPS from New Blood, this time using magic and medieval themes instead of the sci-fi / cult themes found in DUSK. All the weapons feel fantastic and gives you a nice toolset to fight diverse enemies. The level design is noteworthy, reminding me of Quake's Scourge of Armagon and the better parts of Hexen. The graphics are interesting, using pixelated textures and low poly models but with some modern touches such as enhanced lighting and reflections. A must play for fans of classic shooters like Quake, Heretic, Serious Sam, etc.

A solid arena shooter that can be a little annoying at times due to the difficulty. If youre not a fan of the Tron-esque low poly look, youll get tired of it quick because it all starts to look the same. For 15$ its a hard reccomendation, but less than 10$ its definately worth it.

Hear me out, this game isnt bad its just hard to reccomend this to many. For everything this game does right, theres a major flaw to accompany it. The graphics and presentation definately got me in but was becoming disapointed the more I played it due to the gameplay. Youd think youd be runnning around shooting guys in a fast paced manor like Quake or something, but youll end up getting killed by something you didnt see and restart, rinse and repeat. Sure after about 2-3 tries Id finish they level but I didnt feel like I was getting better at the game, I just remembered where all my threats were. At times your skills in memorization will be more vital than anything else, which left me finishing levels unsatisfied. I'd almost call this a puzzle game especially when it came to the awful bosses. While its not a bad game, its definately not what I was hoping for.

A vivid and bold art style that pays homage to classics like Metal Slug and more modern games like Cuphead. The difficulty is paced properly and a level up system is present, allowing options like increase you ship speed to gaining an extra life. I would recommend this to shmup fans and players who are interested in the genre and looking for a starting game.

Bought this on sale and was expecting a Fallout-Lite game, which it is sort of but didnt realize the rogue-like elements. I honestly like the perma-death and the Purifier trying to kill you while your running through a vault, the game wouldve been more bland and forgetful if it was just a Fallout-esque game only. Good job Mr. Podunkian and Adult Swim games for making a nice little game.

I have to say this a proper beat em up. The combo system is not too complex but allows for some interesting combos. While the game is challenging, I found myself replaying it and learning new strategies and learning how the enemies fight, which is a big plus. The game has unlockables which is a rarity today, usually extras are DLC or preorder bonus. Overall, if you are fan of the genre, you dont want to miss this title.

Only game I know where you can drive a forklift, fight a bull, and crack some guys skull. A real sleeper hit in my opinion.
