Absolutely beautiful & most importantly very fun to play. I'm never disappointed with the stories this series got to offer

Holy shhhhhi.. sincerely speechless and can't rub the literal :o out of my face... just WOW.. like.. pardon me!?? (In a good way lol).. they ATE that one RAW & I cant help but to be proud of the series direction right now:')
Only 2 stages in (wanna take my time ngl) Shadow's story & on the edge of tears.. its beautiful in everyway possible. The gameplay, the controls, story, the cutscenes and even the little changes they made in Sonic's part are well done to fit more "in character". So much love was put in this game and it shows!! As a long time Sonic fan born in the Adventure era (SA1, SA2 & even Shadow the Hedgehog the game are my childhood), man it feels great to be back !!!! I would even recommend Shadow's part to people that are not in the Sonic fandom, its that good.
I dont like writing reviews that much, but this game deserves all the thumbs up i hope they will continue that route as it seems like i'm not the only one having those positive feelings toward the game.
It feels so nostalgic, yet so fresh I'm glad they decided to explain once and for all Shadow's complicated (and inconsistant) story as Shadow is one misunderstood, yet extremely interesting character with such a profound backstory & admiring personnality that got lost throughout time. So happy that the characters are having their moment to shine!

Times are tough right now and this game just filled my heart with so much love as its reminding me why ive been a fan for so many years, through the good and rough times. Its absolutely worth it :)

I usually dont write reviews , but man... I can't express how Sonic being back on track with as much passion as before is making me truly happy! The past 10 years were tough man, feels so good to see Sonic characters finally being respected by Sonic Team the way they should be. Each one of those character had (and from now seems like we can finally talk in present tense for the video games) something that made them unique, we had at least a character that we could relate to their story and personality, they werent being too stereotyped like the last few games, seeing the purpose in each one of them and lets not talk about how endearing they are when well portrayed, even the "enemies". We lost that for so long and having the spark in the franchise back is why we admire so much the game even if it has its flaws. The love and effort put in this game, the return of the true characters we know and love, the op OST, the prologue that im still not over it, A GOOD STORY, more open gameplay... everything is enough for me to enjoy it and being hyped af.

The downsides, as many have talked about
- the pop-in that can sometimes "kill" the immersion (they might fix it soon who knows)
- the controls in Cyberspace are a lil weird. They should be the same as the open zone where we have more control
- new original levels would make it more refreshing. At least using other nostalgic stages that arent from Sonic Generations
- Personally, I would love to see more expressive characters in the next game's cutscenes, they're a lil stiff.

That's pretty much it lol Sonic Frontiers have become my second favorite Sonic game (after Sonic Adventure 2) and might even surpass my love for Sonic Unleashed (not talking about the quality of the cutscenes here tho Sonic Unleashed in game cutscenes were drop dead gorgeous for its time)

Havent finished it yet (i'm only at the end of Ares Island), but as for right now i'm having such a good time and kinda wanna take my time exploring everything this game has to offer :)

Ce jeu a conquis mon coeur dès ma jeune âge. J'y ai joué sur la Gamecube back in the days, Playstation 3, récemment sur la Dreamcast et y rejouer sur Steam m'a refait tomber en amour. Ce jeu là est clairement le jeu qui m'a le plus marqué dans mon enfance et pour moi est rempli de nostalgie :)

Faut aussi j'avoue que j'pense que je vais jamais vraiment move on des Chao peu importe mon âge lol
