Short, sweet, and some of the most fantastic writing I've seen in a long time.

Worth the price 100%

A great game if you want to sit back and relax for a few hours, but not get *too* relaxed.

The hub world areas are interesting, but the game is let down by its missions. The majority of them tend to just be "go here and watch a cutscene, then go over here and watch another cutscene", which wouldn't be so bad if that wasn't the main storyline, behind which the hub worlds, characters, and vehicles are locked.
Granted, you sometimes get an actual challenge, level, or minigame a well as it instead of a cutscene. But, overall the main storyline is just a chore you have to get through to unlock the actual content of the game. And I personally don't think that's worth it.

Just get Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga instead. Yes it doesn't have the large number of hub worlds, but the actual missions and storyline are full of nice details and gameplay, as well as secrets requiring you to play those missions again with other characters later on.
Basically the main missions are the meat of the game, unlike this game, where it feels like a bar to entry and work you have to do before you can have fun.

It's a real shame, they made all these additions, these worlds, these upgrades to wrap around the main story. Then forgot to make the main story, the core of the game, engaging.
Instead that same core of the game has put me off of reaching the rest, I'd rather play something else than do more work to unlock the actual gameplay part of this game.
It pains me, it had the potential to be so good.

Honestly this is the first time I feel I've wasted my money buying something at 60% off. And it's all the more painful given my love of the previous Lego Star Wars games.

What was once a lie is now the truth.

Yeah, at release the game didn't contain half the stuff folks were led to believe it did, but they kept working on the game for two years until it did.

...And then they kept going.

Seriously, these guys keep releasing massive, game-changing updates year after year. I am honestly surprised they haven't stopped yet, they have done more than enough. This game is now much, much better than the game people thought it would be before launch.
Here's hoping Hello Games gets recognition for the amount of effort they still put into this.

Much more focused on type matchups and actual strategy than Pokémon (which you can easily brute force the main story of)

It can be a bit grindy though

Quick, simple, infinitely replayable.

Great for when you've got some time to burn, but not enough to invest in a longer game.
