I am going to recommend this game even I think it falls a little short in some areas. Frankly most of my playtime is from pretty early after release, I understand some updates have polished up the game play a bit, which was probably necessary because while I love a lot of things about this game it did kind of feel like there were really only a couple ways to try and build reliably consistent decks.

The game hits a great and unique style with an interesting take on roguelite deck builders. They have been updating the game and the price is very reasonable. I do recommend it.

I get why it's popular but it doesn't do enough for me. It feels very repetitious and grindy and while it's clear there are different builds to try and I imagine with different levels of effectiveness the core gameplay loop doesn't motivate me enough to try them all out.
I'm not sad I bought it but this won't be one of those games I get a lot of hours in.

Borderlands 3 isn't a "bad" game but that's not what the Steam review asks, it asks "Do you recommend this game?"
I don't recommend this game because it's not bad but it's worse than what's come before. There is no reason to play Borderlands 3 over Borderlands 2. Personally I'd spend an afternoon replaying BL1 before I spent my time playing this game.

Obviously the writing is way, way worse but the level design and many mechanic design issues are worse in this game than previous games, although there are a few improvements too.

This is a very fun little indie zombie themed tactics game. You have different units that gain experience and level up and you have to approach grid like cities where you rescue civilians and destroy zeds. It's something you can easily jump in and play just a couple missions and jump out. I recommend for fans for this genre.

Maybe I should have given this game more of a chance, I can see there are a lot of systems here to learn and play with, but the first few hours have been a slog and I typically enjoy this style of game. The combat seems half baked, the areas you fight in feel so cramped with your troops frequently getting in each other's way and it's hard to know which fights you can and can't take, at least in the early game.
If you want a strategy/4x type of game I think there are many better examples even here on Steam. I cannot recommend this title. It's not terrible and there is a lot here but I just didn't find my time with it enjoyable.

I find the controls clunky, the pacing slow and nothing about the setting or characters or dialogue pushed me past those things.
Not recommended.

I've just went ahead and uninstalled the game after the latest update foisting their store on us. It appears, for me at least, to have made the game impossible to successfully launch as well. Just play the originals or heck, a newer, better game.

This is a very basic game with little in the way of gameplay elements. In fact I kind of think if they had found a way to lean more into the creative, making things with crayons aspect the game may have been more popular.
But it is a calming and relaxing way to spend an hour or so on a Sunday afternoon.
It does feel priced a bit highly for what it is but that's of course a personal value decision.

Still probably THE gold standard in "looter shooters" released so far. Lots of personality, a unique and effective art style, and a LOT of content with all the DLC. Lots of guns, shields, enemies, bosses, enivornments, etc., it's easy to put get a lot of enjoyment out of this game.
Too bad Randy P's name is associated with it...

A fun throwback racer with progressive difficulty, lots of cars to unlock, many tracks with different looks, a decent soundtrack and also upgrade races you can place 3rd or better in to unlock upgrades for your cars.
Nothing you'll dump 100 hours into but good fun if you enjoy arcade racers.
