The Oceanic Sandstorm Group is a community initiative for Insurgency: Sandstorm players from the OCE region to socialise, with the primary intent of playing 5 v 5 Firefight.

It was founded by Oceanic regulars and members of †ra$h clan CIMBRICUS, mechaniK and weezysneezy who established the Oceanic Sandstorm Group out of a desire for a more competitive experience than is offered by public games of Push.

Since its founding the OSG community has seen steady growth, thanks to its team of founders but more importantly its regular and dedicated players, who spread the word and invite new players into the community every other week.

The OSG team has successfully taken the initiative of offering Sandstorm's niche Oceanic player base an appropriate and well managed community environment for participating in competitive games, where players from the region of all skill levels are encouraged to join in and play together.

Official PUG (Pick Up Game) nights are Fridays and Sundays starting in the evening at no set time as games start once 10 players are on the bench and ready to play. We use our own Sydney based server, with enough slots for spectators as well.
