Outshines The Culling, H1Z1, and every other BR experience you've had to date and it may be one of the only games to use early access correctly. I'm not the biggest fan of BR games due to some of the other titles' shortcommings, but PUBG has done a lot to speed up the gameplay and make the gunplay rewarding yet approachable. Highly recommended.

If Take Two wants to pull a Bethesda then the player base collectively will tell you to ♥♥♥♥ off. OpenIV was the best thing that ever happened to this series.

I'm a huge fan of this series, but this season was subpar. the episodes got shorter and shorter and the quality went way down. Telltale angered their fanbase by destroying a beloved character in the laziest way possible and then delivered a mediocre at best story. Many of the characters in this season were downright annoying and I only found myself invested in a small fraction of them by the end of episode 5. That's not to say that there weren't any highlights this season, but the negatives outshine the positives this season without a doubt. If you're looking into this season I recommend picking it up on a large sale.

This game is a blast and there is currently 6 courses (Ancient, Forest, Oasis, Twilight, Candy Land, and Haunted House). Tons of courses to play, all equally different, and very active developers. Hop into the experimental branch of the game and you can play the courses as they work on them. The game is great for when you want to play with your friends or if you've only got 15 minutes to kill between school work or while dinner is cooking. Highly recommended.

Portal Knights is a voxel based, RPG, sandbox game that has three different classes that you can play. These are Warrior, Ranger, and Mage, all of which offer a different experience. The game allows you to work your way through each world collecting various elements and resources that allow you to upgrade your weapons, abilities, and powers. Once you've collected what you need you can move onto a new world through a portal that you'll have to locate in the world. Each world can have between 0-3 portals and they can be challenging to find. As for the combat the game feels very good and the difficulty is fairly casual. Certainly one of the best steam purchases I've made this year and this is certainly a game that you could put 100s of hours in whether you want to fight, build, or farm resources. Great game.

First things first. The game has great optimization, none of those Dishonored 2 shenanigans (980ti/Ultra/120-144fps). Intruguing start to the game considering my expectations for it and I've gotta say I didn't quite see it starting where it did. The main character Morgan Yu has some memory problems so it's up to the player to start to piece things back together in order to start to understand the situation that you've found yourself in. Hasn't been all that scary yet, more sci-fi thriller/shooter up to this point. The game uses DENUVO so if you have an issue with that be forewarned. As for the gameplay imagine BioShock meets Dead Space in the early years (before DS3) with some System Shock thrown in. The only issue I ran into in the whole game was the reactor room which had absolutely terrible FPS (we are talking like 15fps) for some reason. I'm really hoping Arkane optimizes this area because it was a real pain to fight the stronger enemies with all the stuttering. The last few hours got really, really intense. Overall, Prey is a solid game that's certainly worth the pick up with a pretty cool story, good aesthetics, a great soundtrack (thanks again, Mick), and good pacing. 8.5/10

The Finch family has quite the interesting story and you, as the main character, Edith Finch, will uncover the stories of her family through the stories they have left behind. The Finch house is quite the spectacle and it was an absolute joy to explore. Just a side note you do not spend all of your time in the house so if you're concerned that you'll be bored of the house, you won't. The game has an emotional story and you will really feel for the characters. For those of you on the fence this is a walking simulator, so don't go in expecting otherwise. Certainly worth the pickup if you enjoy and good story that you can finish in about 3 hours.

So let's start it off by saying that this game isn't worth the full price at the moment. It's long loading times and bugs can't justify a full price, but I think it would be worth $15. The game is your typical stealthy sniping game with bullet physics. Basically you'll have to adjust your shot for weather, drag, wind, etc.. The open world and the story are pretty average, a bit played out, and it has a very poor ending as well. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a demanding game if you want to experience the game with Ultra graphics. I'm running a 980ti and i7 6850k @ 3.6 GHz and I'm playing on the high preset with little to no issues. The climbing is a bit weird and will sometimes result in you getting stuck in the rock or the ground. It also rains indoors in parts of the game which is interesting. The main reason why I will recommend the game is the sniping mechanics. They are fairly rewarding especially when trying to hit your long shots. I think the mechanics alone make the game worth the purchase at a discounted price like I said. There's 26 main missions and 4 acts. You should spend like 7-10 hours on the main missions alone. I'm hoping that they will be able to patch out some of the goofy bugs and optimize a bit and then CI Games should have a pretty decent product here. As it stands as of 5/1/2017 I would wait for some more patches and a sale.

In terms of the Outlast games I'd have to say that this comes in third after Whistleblower and the original game. That's not to say it's a bad game, but instead it just had big shoes to fill. I loved the voice acting especially with the main character Blake. You can feel his confusion and just how terrified he actually is of the hallucinations, his struggle with his past, and the horrors of Temple Gate. I think the game is absolutely worth the full price and it'll run you about 5-6 hours. If you were at all a fan of the first Outlast or the DLC this is certainly more of the same feeling. The game runs great by the way, those extra months definitely allowed Red Barrels to deliver a complete product. Good luck out there.

Save your money....it becomes unfunny in a matter of seconds. This game is a good example of what is wrong with Steam. My wrist hurts less after doing the actual thing.
