Dull, muted and lacking in any of the suspense that made L4D & L4D2 enjoyable, B4B is lifeless.

Absolutely amazing. Reminds me of Psychonauts only with co-op & great controls.

I can't really recommend this over the first game so far (about 90 minutes into my first play through). There is a lot of immersion breaking, mostly in the form of clipping textures/models, NPC's getting stuck on environmental assets and strange NPC vision cones (I have been spotted a few times while hiding behind objects having made no sounds. Crows alerted enemies to my presence while I was on the opposite side of the screen). I've witnessed a few small, none game breaking bugs.
The same poor level interaction (failing to grasp ledges/objects, getting stuck on objects) remains from the first game, that given the delay between the two games you would hope would have been ironed out.
Hopefully upcoming patches will eradicate a few of these issues, but I cannot see them fixing the interaction problems that make some of the game very frustrating to play.

Dull, ugly and very clunky.

A very frustrating introduction to the game.

Two crashed upon boot up, disconnection after initial entry to the game. I had to stand in an ingame line to access my first mission via a laptop. The characters are flat clichés, especially Faye Lau who is unfortunatley thrust upon the player within the first 5 minutes.

This is the first game on steam that I have requested a refund. It is simply not enjoyable.

Occasionally frustrating controls and the odd semi illogical puzzle do not detract from this excellent well told story. It may be a little short (though for £7 you cannot complain) but the stories pace/setting and the very good voice acting make it easy to recommend.

A extremely dull game with a mix of bloodlines and league. Very little skill involved besides the aiming of abilities. Matches seem to devolve to a slow brawl after 5 minutes. Extremely limited item purchasing which would be fine if the main combat mechanics were not so tedious.
