Story
The story is about a group of outlaws at the turning point of the 1800’s. It depicts the lack of adjustment that those outlaws had in order to include themselves in the new norms of civilization and law. The story is also about how rich people manipulate the law to get richer instead of the outlaws. The character arc of the protagonist is well written and thorough. The rest of the characters are supplemental and play their role very well. Rockstar was very thoughtful of having a lot of Easter eggs and dialogs for just about anything.

Game Time
The game has a lot of depth and a lot of exploring to do, as well as a lot of sub-quests to deviate from the main. A thorough player could spend up to 100 hours or more to finish the main story, reach 100% completion, visit the Easter eggs and complete the side quests.
Game Mechanics
The basic game mechanics are easy. A casual player could even finish the main quest without using most of them. There are a lot of mechanics that the game will not inform you of so the player will have to find out through trial and error. The character interaction is a little bit stiff, needs a certain angle of approach to interact with certain items of the environment. Gambling mini games are very interesting but boring after a while, since the AI is nothing particular. Fishing Mini game is uninteresting. Gun play is exceptionally good. The character has a “bullet time” equivalent that helps him aim quickly and with accuracy. Horse riding is very good and detailed. Swimming and boat handling offer basic functions and are not detail like other game mechanics. Interaction with NPCs is very good and the pattern they follow is wide. Their reactions also feel natural and the algorithm seems to be very well worked.

Audio / Video
Visually the game is sensational. The environment is beautiful and detailed. The developers have implemented several biomes with their own characteristics, such as weather, flora and fauna, building architecture etc. Every shot is an actual screenshot worth remembering it. The ambient audio is excellent, balanced and detailed. Music is basic but it is purposed like this to coincide with the period of the main story.
Keep in mind that in order to enjoy the full visual aspect of the game, a good GPU is needed. Consider having more than 8GB of RAM, as well as a descent CPU. Loading times are horrendous even on an SSD, but when the game is loaded, there are no loading times and everything happens seamlessly.

Bugs
The game itself doesn’t have noticeable bugs for as long as I have played it. What is bugged is the mind of the managers over on Rockstar. They have implemented the Rockstar club, which is actually an anti - pirate mechanism. The obsession of not having the game pirated has gone so far that it renders the save mechanism useless and it makes the game crash several times after a few hours of play. You can’t load a manual save game, without starting the story where you left it so it is synchronized with the Rockstar club. This is an obvious anti pirate mechanism, but it f**** up the game in an ugly manner and it becomes frustrating. Rockstar has implemented a mechanism to discourage pirating the game, but at the end of the day it discourages the game base that has actually bought the game. As of January 21st 2020, the problem still remains and hasn’t been fixed.

TL:DR
A wonderful game, good story, good game mechanics, outstanding Video, and lots of in-depth game play.
BUT, corporate greed ruins the fan base that want to relax playing casually, by a discouraging anti pirate programming
Congratts to the devs, middle finger to the managers.
Buy only with a discount, 7/10, just because of the login bugs brought to you by greedy people.

Its been 3 years and still I haven't played a better or more polished RPG. 11/10

Amazing game. Even if you are not a primarily FPS player, you should try it. Playing in an Outfit is a life changing experience.
Along with the HUGE number of online players, it puts a new meaning of the word Massive, in MMO's. don't miss it.
