A true redemption. When No Man's Sky was released, it was missing many of its promised features, and the lack of content made the game feel too repetitive. Over the past five years, Hello Games has worked hard to help No Man's Sky reach and exceed the potential we all first saw in this game. There are so many things to do. There are galaxies to explore, bases and colonies to build, ships to find, upgrade, and fly. Your journey is up to you to survive and discover whatever you may find.

I have been thoroughly impressed, which is why I've nominated No Man's Sky for the 2021 "Labor of Love" Steam Award.

Path of Exile is the spiritual successor to Diablo 2 and the current reigning king of ARPGs. It is an incredibly deep game that offers a ton of replayability. It continues to grow and evolve with major content updates being released every three to four months.

Killing monsters, finding loot, and growing stronger is a fun and addictive cycle. There is an unbelievable amount of diversity when it comes to building a character. The crafting system is very complex. The mapping system can be used to customize your endgame experience. Endgame boss fights can be challenging to even some of the most experienced players. There is a steep learning curve, but if you enjoy ARPGs, this game is absolutely worth your time.

Unlike other companies, Grinding Gear Games is known for being transparent and communicates frequently with the community. They answer questions, promptly respond to feedback, and even share their reasoning for some of the decisions that they make. The community is also amazing and very passionate.

Path of Exile utilizes a fair free-to-play business model. None of the microtransactions are pay-to-win. You can buy cosmetic skins and stash tabs. Supporter packs give you the most value and are highly recommended if you choose to spend money.

Path of Exile is my choice for the "Labor of Love" Steam Award, and Grinding Gear Games is my choice for the "Best Developer" Steam Award.

EDIT: Path of Exile is my choice for the "Labor of Love" Steam Award in 2019.

Incredibly funny and action packed. Huge world to explore. Tons of challenges and missions to keep you busy. Plenty of options for customization. My favorite game of the Saints Row Franchise. Highly recommended.

Saints Row: The Third is my choice for the "Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War" Steam Award.

Charming, yet heartbreaking journey. Wonderful graphics and sound. Interesting, but simple puzzles. It's a short game with no replay value, but absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is my choice for the "I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye" Steam Award.
