I only bought this game because i saw alot of blood and thought it looked cool.
Turns out its actually a really good game, it even has a roguelite kind of gamemode that i discovered by accident.
Great fun, although maybe a bit too pricey for the amount of content you get.

Quite frankly, this game is horrible.
You cant access settings ingame, you have to exit to main menu. wtf?
The mouse feels very floaty even if you turn down smoothing to 0, its at 100 by default.
The menus look cluttered af thanks to their stupid style.
The one and only thing this game has going for it is the artstyle, thats it.
Do not buy this pile of crap, thanks bye.

I have now put an additional 100 hours into the game and 100% it. It is a fantastic game, go get it!

Prior to getting BL3 on steam i have played about 360 hours on the EGS, so im not writing a full review after playing for 18 hours.

So where do i start? Ah yes i know, the story. The story can be summed up by one word and that word is, ♥♥♥♥. The writing is very cringey and quite honestly very lazy. The two main villains are also a huge stepdown from Handsome Jack but that was to be expected. I doubt they will ever top Jack as a villain.

What about the gameplay then? The gameplay is top notch. It is very smooth and responsive. Not much more to say about that, its great.

Up next is endgame. There is currently not a whole lot to do but whats there is really good. Instead of the usual raidbosses we had in BL1 and BL2 we have takedowns, they are long stages full of enemies and bosses. We only have one takedown so far and it is very good. Easily better than regular raidbosses. But i do miss the BL2 style raidbosses sometimes.

And at last, the DLCs. So far both DLCs are very good but i would say that DLC2 is the better one.

Oh and also, so far its not like the endgame of BL2 where you can only use a couple guns to manage. Pretty much anything can be used at the max difficulty. Also theres no Salvador in this one so thats good.

BL3 also has some performance issues but it has been improved ALOT since launch.

Theyre also currently having constant mini events during the quarantine so thats cool.

All in all id say BL3 is shaping up to be one of the best looter shooters ever, it just needs some time.

Absolutely fantastic roguelike game. Probably my favorite roguelike ever (maybe except isaac).
