I feel ashamed asking friends to play this game. Not even a joke. I'd like to play this game with more friends, but the amount of caveats, exceptions and whatever I have to say since I KNOW they'll get instantly turned away from how awful the game is. I'd never ask a person I actually care about who never played this game to join me in matchmaking or anything other than custom games with all perks disabled.

Aside from that, the devs are just the worse people imaginable to work on games. You could say anything you want about studios like ubisoft and whatnot, but at least they hire people who actually can develop and code games, especially more than one game. Christ, this game is so poorly made it's so sad. I just want to play a slasher movie but this game has cornered this market and every other game that has tried quickly dies of since BHVR has taken most of the IPs and sold them as additional DLCs you have to keep buying to keep up with the balancing in this game. Why play texas chainsaw massacre when dbd already has bubba, and myers, and freddy, and resident evil, and so on and so on.

Game's just dead. Servers have been down for days and the devs only sent out a single tweet saying there's no ETA on when they'll be back. They still put it on sale anyways. Game looked really fun and wanted to play it with some friends who like evil dead, guess not.

Amazing. So addicting to play. The cult community building and the rough-lite dungeon crawling parts of the game compliment each other so well. I really like how you can choose what portion of the game you wan't to focus on. You can either view it as a rouge-lite first and view the cult building as something to use your loot in and to upgrade your abilities; or you can view it as a cult building game first and view the rouge-lite portion as a way to gather resources for your cult. Very good concept executed very well!

greedy devs keep making moronic decisions. adding ""anti-cheat"" to kill the modding community, just so they can repackage their communities ideas as theirs and sell them in their dumb subscription model.

Finally, A proper early access game were the dev keeps everyone up to date and let's the people who paid for early access help with the development! Seriously though, this is a great game that has by far the best VR shooting and gun mechanics out there. It's updated almost every week on the beta branch and the dev is active in the community. I do recommend watching the dev logs and his tutorials before buying though, since it is early access it doesn't have that well of an introduction for new players yet. So if you're looking for a good sandbox gun game that's slowly (but surely) developing a more focused game to it then this is what you're looking for

Fun game with a friend and some bots but when you start playing with other random people you realize that it's no longer a game about sword fighting and more about exploiting quirks in the balancing and using certain """techniques""" to get cheap kills. But it still feels a little on the thin side for game content especially at that $30 price tag. Could use an addition of more and well made singleplayer/co-op game modes other than a wave based gamemode where the bots are easy to break/mess with

Spectacular game. Devs deserve every cent for that price tag
