I paid for everything - the full package with all addons - and I get some bull about having to link account to get Napoleon! I don't wanna do that that's why I bought on Steam, why am I being cheated out of content for paying full price?

Best ARPG so far...

New review for March 2025 "Hunt" update:

Game has been extremely unstable and they made sweeping changes to the game where they overnerfed classes that were to OP.

I'm playing Spark/Stormweaver with Meta Lightning conduit build.

1.
MANA issues in general and Eldritch Battery and Archmage are worthless.
Choosing either one makes you go oom in a few casts and you can't sustain any damage on maps, let alone picking both even though I'm stacking mana regen gear and mana regen nodes.

Sure it needed a nerf, but yeah they completely gutted mana!

META Skills were nerfed to much.
And sure they nerfed the ever living daylights out of META skills with getting half energy which makes it difficult to build up at all with shocks. I understand nerfing Lightning Conduit by one fifth of damage, that was needed but then I was buying my first Jewel with Meta and WTF, it only goes up to 8 now instead of what, 15 before! This is just plain silly. I am maxed out on everything shock, shock magnitude, Exposure etc. on the tree and I have all the Meta nodes up to Energise passive, have a 8x top Meta Jewel and a wand with 71% Shock chance - My LC procs like every once in a blue moon - it's super annoying, it's like they removed it from the game instead of balancing the DPS only, now it's just there to make you choose a fail build.

Also did they zoom the game in more in last patch (d) or am I going crazy!?
Like the game was already super too much zoomed in and I'm playing on a big 4K monitor and I feel super constrained now - it's super bad how little I see - it's annoying as hell, and with the white flying stunning mobs, you don't have time to react with this small viewing space!
Some of us have high resolution monitors and UI is way to big!
MAKE PLAYERS ABLE TO ZOOM OUT UP TO 30% MORE!

4. They nerfed and removed/destroyed some chase items, there is less items and goals to chase after and it has shortened the playing time a lot. Yeah, not very smart for purposes of player retention. They also nerfed the mana on gear needlessly.

5. more than 80% of the player are playing the new lightning spear, I tried it and it's boring but sure it does a whole lot of DPS and clears entire screen - while other classes are left in the gutter.

6. There is something horribly wrong with the looting, and on top of that they introduced so many junk jewels and gems so it's double hard to get anything good, but then again there is less variety pr. class after they nerfed the stat ranges.

All in all this "Hunt" patch is a HUGE DOWNGRADE compared to the previous iteration of POE2.

I'm having a hard time staying with the game as it is, I'm really forcing myself hoping it will get better.

Pretty simple but a decent timewaster.

Very good but very "sand boxy" - not enough content, story.

Always replayable and sucks time like nothing else.
